24 yrs. old, no sexual desires, no job/degree, no friends no desire for any. No obligations. Devoid of ambition, no will to provoke hunger. Insufficiently suicidal to pursue it, sufficiently to have already figured it out. Not desperate to live, still willing, but lost all perspective. Give me yours what would you do?
I want out of here alive or dead, basically.. but am not willing to pay my dues.
physically healthy, mentally.. doubt it.
I'm serious please only real answers.
>>
Ow, pic really fucking unrelated.
>>
Travel the world
>>
Buy a one way plane ticket to China dn then give the rest of your money and all your belonging away.

Become a monk.
>>
do some hard drugs
>>
>>18056974
Done it. Done with it for now
>>
>>18056973
Seems like a desperate move
>>
I'm on similar boat, man. Social interactions really help bringing you back to life and providing you with desire to live, even if you feel fine without them. Also consider what you've been told about China. I don't suggesting becoming a monk, but putting yourself in actual trouble/danger may make you feel emotions you need. Risking your life and escaping alive really puts some new will into life. Travelling solo somewhere a bit unsafe seems good. I suggest hitchiking without cash to some poor country. Take a dictionary.
>>
You sound just like me, age and everything, except for the money. Holy shit.

AS FOR THE MONEY. Invest it, I think. Have you tried the stock market? Or trying to move somewhere random. It might kick-start a hunger in you. Complacency can bring about emotional/mental warfare.

Have you tried talking to a doctor? Maybe you are suffering from some form of depression.

Working out, while sounding like such a typical response, really does help.
>>
>>18057068
So lets do that.. and then, my money runs out and I'm still not willing to pay my dues, now what.
>>
OP where do you live? Try moving to California or something. Or New Zealand. Look around for work.
>>
>>18057072
How do you get around without any money then?
>>
are you a boy?
>>
>>18057077
Netherlands. California sounds expensive. lol, anyway this means working my way up from some bottom, which is fine, but I'm not willing to..
>>
>>18057084
Why do you ask? Let's hear it.
>>
>>18056965
>>/out/
>>
>>18057091
I don't necessarily want to travel though, just get out of here, i don't know what.
>>
>>18057073
you die. That's the deal, man. Putting yourself in actual danger brings emotions, which make you live and want to live. It's a desperate move and obviously you do it at your own risk. I have done it already and it worked, so there'sthat
>>
>>18057081
by improvising. Nobody knows in the first place, you need to live it the hard way
>>
>>18056973
>one way ticket

He won't be allowed into the country or even board the plane without a return ticket.
>>
>>18057131
You have not done exactly that, i don't buy it. As for me this stream of thoughts gone trough my mind, too! Except it seems like not much of a fun thing to do. May as well just off myself and never endure the hardships I'm not very motivated to overcome itfp
>>18057134
Doesn't sound like any much fun, thus unlikely worth trying to live on for. Do you want to elaborate? You got my attention..
>>
>>18057134
If your like op than why do you bother struggling if you dont have the money without working for it, and op mentioning hes no motivation to live really except he has it easy. Sorry for bad english
>>
>>18057195
who told you I had the money? I had only enough to live, I admit. But I travelled around half of the fucking world without the cash.

>>18057169
man you are asking what to do to get yourself motivated, not to get entertained. I am afraid if you insist on having the both you may fail on your way.
There is not much to elaborate honestly. You can read thousands of pages of advice on how to do things cheap/ for free. There's hitchiking, dumpster diving wwof(or however you spell that), etc. etc. etc. However it's not like you can simply employ it right off the bat. You need to try, all by yourself. I can tell you all about living with no cash, but you simply won't do that. It's like riding on a bicycle. Sure, I can tell you that you should place the wheels down, so they touch the ground, and that you should move your legs and stuff. Still, you still will need to train to get anywhere.

As to overcoming the hardships - I don't get you. You just created the thread asking people how to do so and now you don't want to do it? well, not much left to say. Also, trust me: surviving near-death experiences IS fun. All the hormones rushing in your body feel fantastic. Thus the extreme sport addicts
>>
>>18057258
Wether it's fun or not depends on the person and context. I like the bycicle analogy, but it's not relevant to me indeed.
But you're wrong, i don't ask for advice to stay hungry for life. I say:
"This~ is your life and perspective, you have €5000 free to spend, what do you do with them."
>>
>>18057262
well, in the original post you mentioned something about movin from that situation, so I thought you wan't to change your life. In this, the change of perspective I'm suggesting might help. Now if you simply want to go on vacation, then I suggest asking on /trv/.
Also, I didn't suggest living without money, I only explained the possibility because you asked that other guy. Still, living without any $ for some time can really change your ways of thinking, for example letting you value it more later.
>>
>>18057258
Where are you now
>>
>>18057285
physically? poland. Why?
>>
>>18057292
Because you travel the world you say with little to no money. You got to want it i guess, they make documentaries bout people like you
>>
>>18057308
well, it's either living in slightly below average conditions at home (and I mean average by my country standards, so much below average for people form western countries) or having cool and crazy adventures and enjoying the life. Fuck, some choices in life truly are obvious.
>>
>>18057319
What is the best thing you ever experienced, esides love y'know, as result of traveling?
>>
>>18057342
Some love was involved as well, but beside it? well I love experiencing new things, things I could have never imagined. And there were many such experiences. Some good, some bad, but each was exciting, which is the only thing that matters to me.
So for example

>me
>17yo, second trip to foreign country (the first was Estony, so very close to Poland. That second was to Portugal)
>well, that's like 4000km. It didn't felt like a very big deal even back then, but that's still some deal
>went through some crazy route (Kraków-Bratislava-Paris-Bordeaux)
>given a lift in Paris after waiting 7 hours straight
>some old lady, living in the suburb
>huge buddhism fan
>fed me and gave me her ticket for TGV(fast train)
>said this was for getting to Touluse to see Dalailama, but she can't go because of a sick friend
>after much thinking I tend to believe she actually lied about friend and just did it for me. To just think, what another, unknown person may simply do for you...
>Later in Portugal
>got there with a guy, who overtook every single car on the highway in Spain, yet took me to some bar and ordered me food and ate with me
>left me under care of some 'bog moma' type woman, who owned that big family bussiness
>she put me in some room for a night
>no glass, but some metal bars in the window
>some old, broken toys in the corner
>a bed without sheets
>I've been told not to go around, as that's dangerous
>
>man, that was a night. I laid there thinking about everything that happened. I realised how far from home I really was, how alone and hopeless and still determined enough to go further
>
>the next day I was given breakfast and driven 60km to the place I was going to

I don't know If you can appreciate this story as it's merely told, but living through it was a hell of an experience. I really cherish that memory, you know.

Once I got robbed by two gypsies with a kitchen knife, while their mother sat in the corner. Way more emotional, but that's a long story...
>>
>>18056965
Cool for you. I have over $420,000 at my disposal, saved up. 26 yo. Not rich enough to live forever on the interest, not poor enough to stay motivated wtf. Tired of drifting and feeling like crap for being lazy.
>>
>>18057366
I can emphatize, somewhat. I have gone trough similar stuff of travel and quasi dependance on very generous strangers, and appreciate it more in retrospect than in the moment okay. But that's just stuff that happens to me pursuing a goal that's now no more. So.. incan't live for that shit, inhate it, frankly, only would do it if i needed to and as I'm fairly indifferent about dying I do not need it.
Thanks for the effort of the story. If you want to tell about being robbed, i'm all.. eyes.
>>
>>18057369
I'd say with that money you can travel in luxery, should account for something at least..
>>
>>18057384
It's not something I need to get of my chest, and the story may be pretty long (can't really tell, never written it) so the actual question is whether you desire to read it?
>>
>>18057400
No it's okay. Seems we're not so similar after all hm..
>>
>>18057387
Already have extensively. Issue is more related to difficulties dealing with people in business at this point I think. Also in accepting large uncertainties in further career progression / future economic and social unknowns.
>>
>>18057449
If I had 420k and worried about future finances and economy I would make bugets and go to town in casinos on- say 1000$ playing carefully, in the long run you'd come out on top probably and earn some serious money. As long as it's virtually expendable itfp.
>>
>>18056965
EuroJackpots. EuroMillions.
Play them. Win. And see dreams come true.
>>
>>18057486
True, except probably not.. i wonder what the odds are of winning the lottery if you spend 5 thousand on tickets..
>>
Lucky you, I wish I had that money to help improve my life. My skin is shit with this psoriasis or whatever it is I have and can't afford to see a dermatologist because American
>>
>>18057489
Probably a marginal increase from buying 1 ticket, despite costing you a fuckton more
>>
>>18057484
>does not understand house advantage
>does not understand the concept of expected value
>>
>>18057576
Watevr, casino payout is potentially higher
>>
>>18057489
Are you idiot?
Only buy 1 ticket per drawing.
5000 eur is enough to do it for a lifetime.

>>18057506
Why is everyone so focused on the jackpot?
Even the 2nd and 3rd prizes are life-changing amount of money.
>>
>>18058287
Jackpot is shoved down everyones throat
>>
>>18057449
What a joke, with half a mil those wouldn't actually be concerns in anyone's right mind
