How can I stop being clingy and possessive?
Not just in relationships but in friendships too. I don't hang out with many people outside of work and school because I get upset when they spend time with anyone but me. I don't know why. I feel like they should always invite me when they do something with others.
It probably stems from my high school "friends" not inviting me to things and then telling me what a good time they had without me.

1. Make more friends.
2. Learn to enjoy being alone more.
3. Use your alone time to develop yourself so that more people like you.
4. With your new found confidence in loneliness and with other people, you can stop being clingy and possessive.
It doesn't matter where your issue stems from. You feel unwanted. Make yourself more wanted but also work on enjoying being alone.
