Hey /adv/, I'm an 18 y/o senior in high school, and I'm having trouble deciding what to major in next year. I'm aware that I'll have a lot of time to figure out what I want to do exactly, but I want to have a rough plan going in. Here are the options I'm considering. Which one is the best and why? The definition of "best" being very broad
Economics
Econ/Phil Double Major
Econ Major Philosophy Minor
Philosophy
Philosophy/Math Double Major
Economics/Math Double Major
Math major Phil minor
Statistics
Classical Studies (lol)
Philosophy major history minor
There's indeed a very broad way of what is 'best'.
Some things pay better, but you might not pursue that direction as soon as you start your job
Some things might be easier for you to get through, but won't pay as much, but you'd pursue it afterwards
Some things are a combo and who the hell knows where you end up.
I studied Economics, as I already had pre-knowledge of it and it was very easy for me to do. Also it pays of well as having a job in that direction.

Just choose whatever you're most passionate about that has the highest potential for employment.
Do NOT do Philosophy or History or Classics. You will not find a job.

Choose something nice, like art.

Heh nice try
Economics/Math Double Major will most likely give you the best jobs in terms of stress/income. It's also the hardest one here though.
