Is going to a concert alone weird? I got tickets to a Billy Talent concert a while back and its happening tomorrow but I would be going alone if I went. Should I try to sell them last minute instead?

its a little 'odd' but not weird, lots of people go alone. the truth is no ones going to notice. everyone whos there with a friend is going to be too busy with their friends to notice someones alone. you worry too much.
besides going to somethign alone can be a cool way to make friends
>august
>go to a movie screening in a graveyard
>forget towell
>guy next to me has a big blanket
>ask if i can sit with him
>we hit it off
>were still buds
>today hes coming over to film a horror movie

No, it is not weird, many music lovers go to concerts alone instead of dragging along a friend who doesn't like it. Nobody is going to pay any attention to you but the music and their own friends. I only regret that I didn't go to more places alone younger.

this. nobody will care. i don't consider it weird at all. i've met quite a few cool people at concerts who went alone too, or lost their friends. i'd go to a concert alone.
I go alone a fair bit, mostly to smaller shows my friends don't feel like going to. It's kinda nice, I can stand near the front, no running around, no trying to hear people. Between bands, I can just hang outside and ask girls for a light as an opener
As someone who has been to that concert.
Just fucking go. The band is amazing. Who gives a fuck if you are alone, dive into that mosh pit and go crazy.

Ay, Torontofag right? I'm not going to it, but I got a notification from Bandsintown that a few people I know are going.
On topic, yeah fuck it, go alone. I went alone to a punk band show a few weeks ago, honestly a great experience. Loved the music, and I just let myself spend like 30$ on alcohol there (since the tickets were only like 10$ since it's a small time band). Got a little drunk and rocked out.
Would recommend. With or without getting drunk. But I recommend having some alcohol.
..what? No. I go to a concert alone about once a week. I live in Austin TX (music capital of the world) so there are constantly a bunch going on. Usually during concerts you get separated from your friends anyways. I usually strike up conversations with about 5 people or so who are also there alone. It's not "odd" at all. Going to concerts alone is just like riding a bike alone, going shopping alone, etc.
