Classic mercenaries have basically died out by now, replaced by private military companies, and you need some training and experience if you want to get in any of those.
Adventurers? Well, there're a lot of tourists and travellers.

Anywhere in the world there is war there is need for mercenaries.
Afganistan, Iraq and Syria probably have the biggest conflicts right now but other places like Somalia or Sudan could also be nice places.

Since you had to ask you don't got what it takes anyway, your best bet is to sing up for a private military company or a local militia in the conflict areas.

>sing up for a private military company
how to?

Almost all PMCs require military experience, unless you want an administrative role.

So join up, and in 6 years you could be making 30k a month as a mercenary

If I from Ukraine, did serving for a year (recruiting with no ask from 20 if not in university) will give me experience I need (many people say they not fight if not serving on contract)?

There are a lot of relatively cheap ways to travel. Look that up.
>>18032010
There should be a joke about Aзiв, but I don't remember any of those. Sorry for me being stupid.
>>18031899
See, here's the thing, though. PMCs nowadays mostly do stuff conventional armies won't: guarding facilities or people, advising, consulting, training actual troops, stuff like that. In conflicts like these there are not many choices: some sides cannot afford mercenaries, some pay with counterfeit money which have no value. There are honest guys, sure, but, well, it is kinda complicated.

No military contractor will be interested in you unless you already have combat experience, why would they take you over an Iraq war veteran?
