What is motivating you to give therapy a chance at rebuilding the trust in the relationship? If your doing it for the kids, I honestly don't think that's a good reason. I think that because it's not going to help your kids having them watch their parents in a dysfunctional relationship. Worse case scenario it will give them the wrong impression of what a relationship is supposed to be.
