How do I stop getting razor burn, /adv/?
I've Googled it and tried everything. I've tried Nair, shaving with baby powder, shaving with shaving cream, those razors with soap on them that women use, electric razors, taking a cold shower to close my pores, sterilizing my razor in alcohol, everything.
I just keep getting terrible ingrown hairs and everything when I shave my legs. Right now I'm dealing with the razor burn from last time I shaved but I really want to have nice shaved legs eventually. I naturally have trouble with acne, even in my mid 20s, despite being extremely clean which might contribute to it.
I have pretty sensitive skin, keep in mind, but anyhow, when I shave, i use a shitty store variety hair conditioner. I then exfoliate with a facial scrub, and after I dry off my skin, I apply moisturiser, so that the skin doesn't dry out. Pretty effective desu and your skin will look amazing.
Exfoliate before and after shaving. Use conditioner as shaving cream. And then take cold shower after to close pores. Pat dry then use body oil

Silkn Flash and go hair removal device.
It's an at home laser hair removal tool but it's way cheaper than most (around $200)
Cartridges are pricey but after so long the hair stops coming back so you will save in the long run.
Nothing better than never having to shave again

Sweet, I'm trying this. I actually want to get into drag or trapping since I'm naturally extremely girly for a guy. I get mistaken for a chick already, so once I can shave well I'll start dressing up.

I've been shaving my entire body dry with just water and a disposable razor for about a year. I think your skin gets gets used to it. Shaving with the grain also helps.

Just shaved like this and I don't have any new razor burn, which is great! Thanks drag queen anon. Now once my previous razor burn disappears I'll have beautiful legs.
Start using a safety razor and a really sharp brand of blades. I prefer feather blades.
Shave after taking a hot shower since, it will make the hair softer and easier to cut.
Shave with the grain of the growth.
Extras after this would be a shave brush +soap and shaving oils.
Ive never used oils since I don't really seem to need them but I've heard it help out many people. I just the brush + soap) but you can just keep on using the same cream you already use if you don't want to go through the trouble
