Simple question. How hard is it to get into georgia tech? By freshman application or by transfer from community college?
I got in by freshman application ranked ~60/500 in my high school class, 31 ACT, something like 750 SAT math and 600 on the other things. I remember being pretty average in relation to my peers. Not sure about transferring. Good luck, anon.

I had a 4.52 GPA, 29 ACT, can't remember my SAT score, I was president of a robotics club, a member of NHS, and scored mostly 5's on my AP exams and I was wait-listed (never accepted while waiting) and ultimately went to UGA.
Not sure about now, but during my application year, Fall 2013, they really went for a 50:50 male to female ratio in their incoming class. I knew lots of grills with poor credentials who got in simply because they were grills. So, if you are a grill, this is good news for you.
As far as transferring goes, a friend of mine transferred from UGA after his freshman year and it didn't seem too bad. He made good grades and had a brother at Tech already, and I believe Tech still has a legacy system in place.
What do you plan to major in? What is your long term goal i.e. grad school or industry after a bachelor degree. I can give you some tips on getting into grad school if you want.

Aerospace engineering. I plan to take the cheap route and go to community college then transfer but if i get enough money ill just go there directly. I also heard if you get a good enough SAT/ACT score someone pays for everything. I hope i can qualify for that last one.

Are you a GA resident? If you are and you qualify for the Zell Miller scholarship, your tuition is completely waived.

If your planning on transferring you should take a look at this: https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/college-university-search/georgia-institute-of-technology
But honestly, if you have to ask how hard it is, you probably can't get in.
