I just moved and have no friends. Would it be a bad idea to attend a college just to make friends? I'm financially stable and 24. What are other methods?
It would probably be a waste at your age t b h.
The time to make friends in college is like, 19-22. You'd be going into college with kids much younger than you, you won't have much in common with them.
You'd be better off talking to coworkers, joining special interest groups around your town with people closer to your age, or just plain talking to people at random whenever you feel the urge to.
Facebook groups for hobbies in you area
Take up a hobby.
I ice skate regularly, had tonnes of friends at the rink I used to go to, moved cities, made tonnes more friends at the new rink.
Helps if you know how to talk to people.

No coworkers. I'm not sure if special interest groups would yield friendship. I could be wrong.

Best websites to use for finding friends are Meetme.com and OkCupid.com, funnily enough; the latter is a dating site but I've had success finding friends on there.
You could also look into hobbies you enjoy and find various self-interest groups around.
Also, maybe look into volunteering for a cause you give a fuck about; that usually attracts like-minded people.

Take a "useless" class at a community college - cooking, art appreciation, etc.
