Not OP but I shower twice a day, use Pantene shampoo atm and just got a hair dryer this morning to perk it up. I'm 19 years old.

Should I change my habits at all? Pic related us my hair right now, it seems healthy.

Stop showering twice a fucking day. Thats a massive waste of water. And some shampoo's can be used every day, but not all.l, generally I'd avoid using it 7days a week but its no problem to use it a couple days in a row. And hairdryers are unneccecary amd bad for your hair, only use them when styling.

So you shampoo every day? Damn son. I shampoo like twice a week, though I have pretty long hair for a guy (almost at shoulders) so conditioner is my thing.

Regardless, you'll wanna cut down. Maybe 3 times a week is fine for short hair.

I shower once in the morning before school and after work because I get dirty and sweaty as fuck afterwards. I'm not paying the water bill, so I make use of it to not smell and feel like a fat spic, I have a hard enough time with girls as it is.

Generally shampoo is fantastic for your scalp and not so great for your hair.

So shower daily, but only shampoo every other day. Wetting your hair is fine, but blow drying, and shampooing daily will dry it out regardless of the shampoo you use.

I use shampoo every other day but what about conditioner? Can I use that every day?

You get greasy hair because you're stripping it of its natural oils, which it needs, so your scalp is producing more to compensate

I quit using conditioner altogether over a year ago and my hair is just fine. Probably better than it was before
