Help your girl get a second date

So I matched with this guy on tinder a few months back (he super liked me and everything) and we hit it off really well in the chat, but it was at an awkward time with Thanksgiving > Finals > Winter Break. So we stopped talking for a bit and I kind of forgot about our convo.
He suddenly messages me again and we agree to finally make plans. The date went well, and we ended up having sex a few times (normally I don't do this, but I was really into him). He invited me to stay the night, and made me coffee the next morning while we chatted before he left for work. A couple of times during the date he kind of implies that he wants to meet up again with "next time.." this and that.
But since the date... nothing. Maybe I'm spoiled and used to getting "I had a nice date, let's do it again another time!" immediately afterwards, but I never got anything from him. I think I give off the "not interested" vibe a lot, so I am afraid he may have interpreted it that way...
Should I try messaging him? What do I say? It hasn't been that long since then, but I finally got a hit after going on so many dates I kind of don't want to screw this up.
