I wanna say try taking this question to /fit/ since this seems right up their alley.
Make it sound like youre trying to bulk up if they get stupid with you for whatever reason.

What is your eating schedule like? Try waiting an hour or more if you exercise.

Nobody forces you to eat up, some centuries ago it was even rude to eat up since it meant that the host didn't provide enough food

If you want to build up a tolerance of sorts it's like anything else, eat a bit more all the time and your body becomes used to that amount.

Change up your diet. You might be eating too much of the same thing or just something your stomach doesnt agree with.
