I have a really hard time stomaching that animals kill other animals.
No idea, but thinking of something like a rabbit being killed just rips me apart.
Yet it's literally how life works - I'm not even vegetarian. I eat so much meat. I just never really considered it came from a cute animal.
I dont know why I care now. I dont know why I cant stomach it.

So you can't eat meat anymore ?

I can, but I feel pretty damn guilty about it. And I have a lot of trouble rationalizing it like I used to. I know a chicken is just a chicken, and the fact people even have an option of choosing to not consume meat at all is only because of how convenient our society is.
I just feel bad about animals dying. Elephants, bears, chickens, lamb. Moose. Anything. I feel a shit ton of guilt.

My friend, it is time you learnt to source your own food and learn to put to use the supplies your food has to offer. Pelt for warmth and shelter, bones for handles charms and chimes, meat to eat and survive.
Learn to honor your food and the laws of nature and this guilt will soon disappear.
That or just drink and smoke it away

Only eat meat from ugly animals, or from naughty animals that deserved to die.

I feel the same. I try to stop eating meat.

Animals ain't no Disney. But well, people do horrible shit too, and we still like (at least, some) people. Most people don't even question if it's wrong to kill other animals or tease other people to death, even though people have much better cognitive abilities than animals. Animals can't really be blamed since they don't have the same cognitive abilities.
Anyways. If we like people who have good and bad sides, why couldn't there be good and bad sides to animals as well?
