I'm heading down to San Diego next week for a couple of days, and crashing in my old college roommate/best friend's house that he shares with his girlfriend. They have a spare bedroom, but they rent it out on AirBnB for extra income/rent money, and I'll be taking it up.

It's nice of them to put me up for free. I definitely can't afford to pay them the going rate for their room for the five nights I'll be there, but I'd still like to do something nice.

What's something I could buy them to show my appreciation? I feel like handing them a wad of cash for their time is pretty impersonal.
