Living with a diagnosis is much better than simply living with the disorder. You've learned what the problem is, and that empowers you to actually manage the problem with medication, therapy, self-therapy and support groups.

You should join a group connected to your local mental health clinic or hospital. Honestly. I have a disability and while the social group is convenient, the amount of information I gained in my short time with them has been invaluable.
