So anons,

I live in canada (maritimes/east coast) and I have no money at all. I've been living off my savings for a while, and I've applied for over 150 jobs. Most places here hire women or immigrants only (i'm a straight white man, so privileged!).
I have just enough money for my insurance on vehicle, tank of gas, and a little for food,etc.

Anyone from NS/NB here who has suggestions? Or anyone who has suggestions/been in this situation before?

I've thought about trying to get welfare or join the military (though i've heard it can take a year or so to get in the army, and I may be too old? ive just turned 31 btw).

Willing to do pretty much any real job, as long as its 40 hours and isn't fastfood/walmart (they only hire for part time here anyway).

Holy fuck dude is it bad in Ns and Nb too?

I'm in NL and I'm in the same situation sort of. Been living off of my savings for the last three months after losing my job and I can not find work anywhere. I have just enough money for my next car/insurance payment and that's it.. It's like nobody wants to hire me or some shit. It's so fucking stupid.

I don't have any advice for you but I do wish you the best of luck.

I have no certifications, as far as trades go, but I've always been a fast learner and good at different jobs. i've worked construction, security, sales, nights, factory work, kitchen work. etc
