HA HA what?
This has to be the most pathetic revenge scheme I'v ever seen.
"You aborted my kid and left me for another man, so I'll spend twent yeasrs moping about it, write a novel and then....STAND YOU UP FOR DINNER!"
The story within the story was the only worthwhile thing, why even have the Amy Adams thing in it?

Serves me right for posting hungover. No matter, let's see what /adv/ thinks. You people probably know more about movies than /tv/ anyway

I pick most of my movies by the cover and given how shitty and cheap this one looks, I didn't even bother to give it a try.
Thanks for confirmation.

Well, the movie actually looks beauitful, and the novel she experiences is full of great scenes, it's just the main plot that's stupid as hell.

Dunno, if they can't even bother finding a decent cover designer, it makes me pretty wary to bother and so far the method worked pretty well. Although there are some examples where shit cover =/= shit movie, I don't recall a shitty movie with a decent cover.
Spending 90-130 minutes for couple pretty pictures and a decent subplot doesn't sound to be worth it.
2016 was pretty disappointing overall for media.

Yeah the only really great movies this year were Arrival and 10 Cloverfield Lane, and some people will probably say that oscarbait Moonlight but I'm not one of them
