I'm not doing so good right off the bat. 1.43 GPA for this first semester, freshman year. Have to work hard to get it up to even a 2.6. My parents are considering taking me out. We have a decently large college savings account, and I honestly hate this shit.
Is it possible for an 18 yr old like myself to do some MOOCs or bootcamps like Firehose Project and get a potential internship or something? I honestly want to skip the whole college thing and just dig right into the technical stuff.
I understand there's community college too, but that doesn't really seem satisfying either.
Why can't you do better? College is super easy. Getting less than a C average is like literal retard tier.

This. I just don't see how people fail unless they have some sort of learning disorder or mental illness, in which case they should know they need to address that first.

College isn't for everyone despite what the Boomers think. Even if you don't use that money for school, it's still yours (well, your families at least).

With a 1.43 GPA, I think "style points" are the least of your concern you ungrateful bitch. You have literally no right to act like you're above it.

The world will always need plumbers. And electricians, mailmen, bus drivers, cops, barbers, construction workers, HVAC techs, truck drivers, sales clerks, auto mechanics, etc. etc.
All honorable and well-paid professions
