Hi /adv/
/b/tard First time posting here. I am sure you guys must get this alot but I have real trouble motivating myself to do anything.

I don't know what to do. I have soo many opportunities and comforts but I am not motivated to do anything. I am in university right now. I am quite active in some extra curricular activities despite being an introvert.

But when it comes to studying, following a 'schedule' and a timetable - nothing. I waste my time jerking off or browsing internet aimlessly.

Should I see a shrink?
>>
Let yourself rest a bit. Not like lurking 4chan rest, but following a relatively regular sleep schedule, doing something you don't normally do, etc. etc.
And then go back to your room, start studying for the first topic that's on your schedule.

...

Just kidding, there's only one way: you have to sit down, and do it.

if you don't have someone irl to share this with, seeing a therapist would be helpful. Since you're in university, they probably have resources there for you.

jfc therapist?
yeah, maybe if it goes on longer than a few months.
people who just run to the therapist... as if therapists did anything else, other than playing your friend who was bribed by drug companies.

maybe you happen to know a lot of people "running" to therapists with small problems. In my experience, talking openly with a licensed professional has been really helpful. It's not for everyone.
>>
Usually what motivate me the most (enough to move my ass and start being productive) is music, some songs in particular are just what makes my braing cling and start working.

Which makes me ask to the thread in general what are the songs that work like this for you, because i'm getting tired of mine lol
>>
>>17907492
what music you into?
>>
>>17907498
I was asking for your favorites of any genre, but i like indie, rock and vidya music
i'm open to any type though, i listen to weird things (like atm i'm listening to electro swing)
>>

I like music that most people consider weird too, electro swing included. Pump up music for me currently would be Lose Yourself by Eminem.
