I am having a buzzing sensation in the same part of my penis. Towards the bottom-left and close to my body...it buzzes lightly almost like a cell phone every so often with no pain.

I think it may be that I have been having too much sex with my girlfriend and maybe a nerve is acting weird. I suppose it is also possible that it may be an STD or infection. Any time I google search about this, I generally get results of nerve damage, and to just stay off of it and it will go away.

This has been going on for the past week or so and I am sort of nervous. Has this happened to any of you guys? Does it eventually go away?

Bad news, OP. I had similar feeling in my dick (usually somewhere around the middle of my length), sometimes among with light stinging/throbbing. Went to a doctor, did some tests, long story short, it turned out to be an urethral cancer.

My boyfriend had a similar experience recently, it was along the bottom of his penis, close to the base. Turned out the be skin cancer. He has a scar, but no lasting damage.
