How do you quickly say "Japanese people" or "Japanese person"?

Useless backstory: An Internet community I'm a part of pretty much speaks its own dialect of English stemming from its foundation by poor English speakers. Now we all speak to eachother in poor English with foreign grammar structure (I think it's Russian), repetitive statements, obscure slang, and tone/emotion is conveyed through the presence/lack of spelling errors and the inclusion of special slang words. Many groups of people are referred to by typically derogatory terms in this group, but these groups are actually revered and respected by the group. Japs and Buttes for example, but we love Japan and Bhutan, it's just annoying to type out "Japanese people".

Relevant backstory: In almost every scenario where Japan is mentioned, I say jap and japs. It runs in the family and I don't mean any wrong with it, it's just tedious to say "Japanese people" over and over again.
