>be on hormonal birth control
>bf pulls out still also
>experiencing pms as always: cramps, back and breast pain are the norm for me
>period a day late
>got paranoid and bought pregnancy test
>came out negative
Still no period. It's never late. We've been using our birth control method for like 6 years, no issues ever. wat do, i am panic.
How long have you been on birth control? that can impact the frequency of periods. Talk to your obgyn if you want reassurance

For about 6 years. Right when bf and I started dating. I'm on the patch, but from like 2012-2013 I was on the pill, then switched back to the patch.
What if I get my birth control from planned parenthood?

I think (but im not 100% sure) that they can help you, contact them and ask. if they can't, they probably know about some programs for that kinda stuff.

6 years consecutively? With no breaks?
BC is only recommended to be used for up to three years. After that it can be harmful.
Also some store bought pregnancy tests give false negatives. You could go to planned parenthood and they have better pregnancy tests and they can test to see if you are actually pregnant or not

Really curious to know your source on that bub. Some methods are specifically designed for use longer than three years.

That's not what the doctor at planned parenthood told me
