I took higher doses of it for the first time the days before and I think it may be the reason why my period was delayed with 10 days - very unlikely delay for me (when I stopped taking it)! Now I'm on my period and the flow is light, while generally it is pretty heavy with bad cramps that only go away with ketonal. I still take one tablet of 600mg a day for the pain as well, I'm on my second day and it's VERY tolerable. Like heck, is such a life even possible? However I'm still experimenting, gonna see how it goes.
Any femanon here familiar with the miracle of Ibuprofen? Can it actually stop periods like a contraceptive pill for as long as you take a higher dose or does it only help with flow, reducing it substantially and generally easing period trouble? I've read a few on the internet, but mostly found questions about it and people who havent tried it panicking about the effects of toxicity. I'm curious about those who use it for this, or know girls who do. What do you think?
Not a fem, just someone who took a lot of ibuprofen and plays a lot of sports.
Nsaids won't stop you bleeding. They do the opposite. Almost like a less shit aspirin.

Now I don't know shit about med in general, but I'e read Ibuprofen acts on the hormone prostaglandin (responsible for the contractions to shed the lining of the womb) thus, besides relieving inflammation and pain, can sometimes (!) or for some people (!!) affect period flow as well.
Again, this may not be true for some. Maybe quite the opposite, I don't know. At a first glance, it may seem true in my case. I'm curious how/if it works for others.
bump, i guess it´s not so popular or known?
