Is there a way to forget a day, specifically today thus far? It's only 3pm.
I accidentally stumbled across something that I don't think I can handle, it's definitely already in my top 5 regrets for ever knowing.
Is it possible to forget it?

No.
>>17388325
Are you sure? Well, fuck.
>>17388334
Yes.
>>17388306
get super drunk? have you ever had a hangover?
>>17388346
I need to forget a thing already in my memory, though, not bypass creating new ones.

He isn't going to forget shit. Stop perpetuating this bullshit. At most, he will forget shit that happened AFTER he killed half a bottle of vodka/rum/cognac by himself, but even then it's pretty unlikely.
People who "don't remember" what happened are generally full of shit.

Just because I'm nosy...could you tell us what it is?
Sort of, but it takes a lot of time. Every time you catch yourself thinking of it, instead fill your mind with static. Keep doing it. Go do other shit with your time. I got a bit too good at this and don't remember what it was I wanted to forget anymore
Its called Xanax

dude, I have forgot what happened the whole day after I had a hangover. maybe it only happens to me, but I will legitimately wake up to me holding a fridge door open, without remembering what happened. also what did you find, if you don't mind me asking OP
>>17388357
I'm trying not to go over it in my mind much, not that I can. About to go out soon, but I can't really control my thoughts.
>>17388358
I'll try it.
>>17388355
Apparently I could get dementia, but then I'd forget more than just unpleasant things, so I'd rather that not happen. I could also try occupying my mind with other stuff and not sleeping for a few days so that it gets buried beneath other junk when I finally sleep and set stuff to long-term memories.

You can try hypnosis with a specialist, but even with that it'll take some time.

>hypnosis with a specialist
How? I mean, what's the success rate with something like that?
I'm going to try staying up for three days and going a bunch of other stuff to bypass memory storage in my sleep. What are some series to marathon on Netflix?
>>17388306
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is not a reality yet. They are working on it though.
Tell us what it is!
>>17388850
Don't stay up 3 days straight. If you do, you'll cause brain damage.
>>17388359
That's all OP really needs. Shit wI'll wipe you like a reset button.
whoever is here saying you can black out a memory that just hard-wired itself by blacking out soon after must have a fucking twitch. you gotta have PTSD and alcoholism to think something like that man. I'm sorry.
so OP, what happened?
>>17388875
Can't get any of that for a days at the minimum.
>>17388878
Just some of that shit that fucks the way you think about everything.
Posting at trips (2:22) o clock on the first night.
For me to forget things i just ignore them or force myself to think of something else when it pops into my head. After that it gets to a point where it would take effort to remember so being as lazy as i am i just dont give it the effort it needs.

What was it?
A dead body?
A movie?
Talk about it and we can help you with it.
