/adv/, I attract about three times as many gay guys as I do women. Initially it was somewhat flattering, but now it's becoming a little irritating, considering they're often quite persistent (I had to rather aggressively confront one guy in person to stop messaging me, as telling him by text didn't do it)
What exactly gives gay guys cues to come on to me?
I'm /fit/ and have a buzz cut. Otherwise average looking

probably means you're attractive bruh
gay guys hit on you because guys are told to chase
women might ignore you, or seem cold but thats because they expect YOU to chase them
chase some pussy bruh

I never really considered it from a gender role point of view... But that's a good point. I just saw it as gays are often more promiscuous than heteros, but I guess that also has its roots in gender roles
I rarely chase because I'm not particularly good at it... Perhaps it's time to start practising and stop worrying

I feel you OP, has happened to me often as well. Just say no and walk away. They all think I'm gay as well and feel all embarassed not sure if it's one my mates telling them I'm gay.
But your not the only one mate so don't feel too bad.

Yeah, I never thought I was the only one as such, but it doesn't happen to any of my mates I'm out with at all... But glad to hear it's perhaps not as uncommon as I thought
I've analysed it down a bit... Questioned my fashion, the way I present myself to others... But I can't really change boots, jeans and a shirt, and I don't really want to change the fact that I'm easy-going and open to chat with anyone
Must be nice. Even gays probly wouldn't give me a chance.
I hope it doesn't sound self-aggrandizing to claim something similar myself. I think this is true, though. >>17387534
