I'm in a dead relationship. I asked out a girl last year in September she said yea and we went on a date. We only have gone on that one date. Everytime I ask if she wants to go do something she says that she can't because her family is anti-bf. I like her and she's shy, and I'm contemplating ending our dead relationship. I just really don't want to hurt her. What Do?

This is going to be harsh, but you need a reality check.

You are not in a relationship. You went on one date with a woman almost a year ago. That is all. Anything beyond that is entirely in your imagination.

Meanwhile, you've been annoying - possibly harassing - the girl ever since by not getting the message and continuing to ask her out.

Move on.
