Write up a schedule and stick to it. Don't play beyond the time frame you give to yourself. Only visit stops near your house or in areas you have to walk past/drive by anyways.

What does too addicted mean? are you putting this app before spending time with your girlfriend? If this is the case then she has a point, you can literally play this anywhere, so you can easily wait or organise alone time or guy time with your friends to play the game so it doesn't bother your partner.

Dial it back. There is literally no reason to rush at playing this game (I play myself) and it should more be a companion app to any outdoor activities you do, rather than the sole reason for said activities.

And, to be perfectly honest? If you like Pokemon enough to be this fucking obsessed, go buy a real Pokemon game. Trust me, from experience, it is a lot more fun, makes more sense, and doesn't punish you in dumb ways to encourage you to spend more money. This app is a pale imitation of a real pokemon game, and the only positive to Go is that it helps you exercise (which is about the only reason I tolerate it.)

Just stop playing it. You're addicted to it because you don't want to fall behind if you quit. But catching Pokemon is literally the least important thing in the world. You have tunnel vision on the game atm
