I'm in love with my BFF, how do I snap out of it?

We've been best friends for 8 years, we faced a lot of though shit over the years.
She saved my life and (according to her) I saved her life too, in fact we even joke about it saying things like "if you die, I'll follow","we'll probably die together" and the like. She even cares about me more than my own family

It was so special but everything is about to go to hell because I developed feelings for her and it got so bad I even feel sick at the mere thought of her finding someone else (she's single)

I did not ask for this and I don't want to ruin my friendship with her.
I'm sure she doesn't like me, I'm not what she wants, or what she needs but I can't take this anymore feelings anymore.
