I don't have a car by choice. I hate driving and the inconveniences of car ownership. However, I love hiking/camping, which usually requires a car. I go in groups and usually ask if anyone can give me a ride, and I offer gas money. I was concerned about being a burden. Do you think it's bothersome to have a friend who always needs a ride? How much should I offer in gas?
Also, any other carfree people? The watermelon is delicious, but how do you bring it home? Accursed heavy delicious things they are.

if they're going on a trip and its a group thing its no big deal. but if ur ALWAYS asking for a ride to this and that and the third thing, yes.
i live in the city so i can survive without a car. outside of the city you need some sort of vehicle.
as for big grocceries i tend to get an uber if i do major groccery shopping, its like 7 bucks to get home with all my grocceries.
but i had one friend who doesnt like to do anything alone, so once every two weeks when he goes groccery shopping he brings me with him

No no, for my own business I get by, but for going camping or hiking with a group or friend I request a ride with them. Only in instances where they are already going.
...I'm too cheap to use uber that frequently.
