Working a shitty hospitality job while I'm in college (not in the US so I actually get a decent pay, in Australia). The business is only 2 months old and it's the off season but the business keeps hiring more people and my shifts are being cut. I've been asking for more shifts since the business opened.... But if I was fucking up or they didn't want me there then they would have fired me in a mass culling weeks ago.
Should I ask my manager if I need to start looking for a new job? How would you approach this?
>not in the US so I actually get a decent pay
Americans' disposable income is actually greater than yours. Your incomes are higher but so is the cost of everything else, plus taxes.
>hospitality job
If you're doing one of those for the money that's your fuck-up. People work hospitality because it means something to them, not for the paycheck. See: therapists, counselors, nurses, etc.
You're basically damning yourself to be one of those cunt secretaries at the welfare office who hates everyone they lay eyes on.
Did I mention Americans get guns and you don't?

>hospitality is nurses and counselors

You should have started looking for a new job as soon as your shifts (and thus income) started going below what you wanted.

I already am, I Mean how would I talk to the manager? Just go up to him and say "should I start looking somewhere else?"

Off topic, but has Pokemon Go really gone that far!?
Jesus Christ, it's just getting worse.

There are people who have been hit by cars and others who have crashed their cars because they were playing. Yes it's gone that far

Why do you need to talk to the manager about looking for another job?

I think OP wants to threaten to leave to get more hours.

I weep for the future, but I must stay optimistic.
