Alright, let me explain.
My dad is a very violent person. He is a woman beater as well, and would hit my mother to the point of bleeding all during my childhood. My mother never called the police because 'she didnt want her kids to grow up without a father'. She was a stupid woman.

Later then I moved far away from those assholes, but they wanted me to visit for 2 days. So I did, and I took a plane to where I am now. They told me they had changed, that they had some gifts for me and that they miss their kid. They were crying on the phone so I came.

However, my dad thought I was moving here. He said I had to, whether I liked it or not. When I said no he went phsyco and tried swerving the fucking car into a goddamn wall trying to kill us all.
I am sure that he is not afraid to murder me.

But I think he's gonna actually do it. I heard him break his TV. The room I'm staying in doesnt have a lock. None of the doors, in fact.

I'm a weak shit, and my flight isnt until tommorow.

When I was at the airport he legit showed up with a gun but the guards didn't let him do anything to anyone. Now I gotta fill out some paperwork so that he goes to jail and never comes back.

Now I'm deciding whether I help my mom or not. Whenever dad beat her up she took it out on me, she even tried to hit my little sisters but I didnt let her.

She now has some mental illness, but she swears shes changed. I don't want to have to live with her.

More to it than that, I'm afraid. You'll probably have to appear in court. Did the Uber driver witness the attempt on your life?

In your situation I would be issuing an ultimatum: your father will never see you outside of a courtroom again, and until you can verify in public records that your mother is no longer married to him, neither will she.

One can argue that the divorce ultimatum may be too harsh. She's probably been as badly victimized as you have, and unlike you she hasn't had time away from him to begin to heal. So maybe go easier on her; that's a judgment call only you can make. But lay down the law as concerns your father: it will probably never be safe for you to be around him without some form of armed guard present anymore. It probably never was safe to begin with.

Then don't live with her. You've got your own place. Stay there.

She has not changed. That much is clear. It is possible -maybe even likely- that she only acted like she'd changed because your father forced her to: we will see what happens as things unfold. I suggest waiting to get more information before making that judgment.

Actually, on second thought, do your parents know your address? If so, then don't stay THERE-there. Move as soon as you can. You don't necessarily have to go very far; just enough that your parents don't know where you live anymore, and where you are unlikely to run into them if they go snooping around your old address. If your dad would follow you into an airport with a gun, then I think it would be very dangerous to assume that he wouldn't try to follow you home. Even if this incident does land his ass on the no-fly list.

Yeah, that's a lot harder to get away with than most people think it is. All you ever hear about are exceptionally stupid cases where evidence mishandling, partial juries or stand your ground laws played an inordinate part. Been in this business a while and what I've found is that domestic violence is rarely just one party beating on the other. That's not to say it doesn't happen, cause it does, but I'd say 90% of the calls I've taken the woman picked a fight, turned it physical and then was surprised when the man fought back rather than taking it. Doesn't make it right, most of the time the proper answer is to walk away, but your case sounds like some partial truth biased bullshit if ever I heard it.
