don't force it anon. do turn off the computer, bright screen doesn't help. get comfortable in bed and just try to relax without worrying about it.

It's proven that bright screens make it harder to fall asleep.
Try reading a book or listening to music till you doze off.
Also, benadryl is a good way to knock yourself out.
