So I'm 28 and haven't had a relationship for a few years. I'm not the kind of person who is upset by this, I'm very picky about the type of people I associate with and I do like being single.
The other day I was at a party and this girl (we'll call her Mary) was there who was my very first teenage crush. Over 12 years ago we used to hang out all the time and I had a massive crush on her. I eventually asked her out in the most embarrassing cringe-worthy way, and essentially was rejected. No big deal I moved on and didn't think about her much since then. So she was at this party and we got along really well. I found myself very damn attracted to her since she's beautiful, funny, and smart, you know that really rare type of girl. She was being quite touchy-feely and at the point of leaving we hugged as you do, and starting kissing me on the neck. I can't help but think that we have both changed and grown up a lot and we're much more compatible now. We even share a very specific interest that I would never have expected. Problem is she lives fucking ages away (6 hour drive). What do?
tl;dr: Met first crush after 12 years, realized she's the best girl for me, but she lives really far away what do?

Man that's kind of up to you, maybe just do a causal fwb thing and see where that leads to. 6 hours is a long drive with no promise that it's going to work out.

Go for it. 6hrs would make for nice weekend retreat every other weekend.
Was she drunk?

This. Don't pass up a good thing just because it's not the best thing.
