Let's just assume he's right. How do I become more of a normal person? I'm always afraid somethign is wrong with me, that people don't like me because of the way I look and act. Just the way I am.

Be cool being who you are, maybe further down the line you can change a thing or two about you, but don't make it your goal to suddenly change yourself just because of the opinion of others, itll fuck you up.

In mah experience, weirdness has more to do with interpersonal troubles than actually being weird.

Things like timing, relevant contribution, personal space, and especially situational awareness.

Addressing any of these things have nothing to do with changing the core make-up of who you are, despite what some others may suggest here.

we're going to need more info about your so-called weirdness, however, to get more specific with suggestions.

Weird in a bad way means you're probably creeping people out or being annoying. Chances are if you see your weirdness as detrimental then perhaps read these two articles.
