Shrooms does apparently treat depression. I don't know about LSD. In either case you don't need to do enough to hallucinate.

they highlight any deep issues on your mind. basically give you the bitter truth of your situation. some people cant handle it though. depends on what kind of person you are. but if youre willing to accept what you experience and make whatever changes in your life necessary, then it could be very beneficial to you.

Using mind altering chemicals is usually not a good idea for therapy if your brain is already fucking up with chemicals.
