Truth is, I don't really feel "down" on myself about this. As much as you probably look down on me for feeling like this, it doesn't affect my self worth. How I feel is more somewhere between frustrated and disappointed.

I don't look down on you at all. I just want you to find your confidence to interact with someone you have interest in, romantic or otherwise. I was the same. Never really sought out female relationship, either way. Randomly met a girl through a good friend, just to kill an afternoon. We've been together for 10 years, married for nearly 5.
