So I've been thinking of pursuing a law degree. I've been leaning towards criminal law and procedure, but what would /adv/ suggest? Keeping an open mind.
>>
do you have connections to a law firm?
>>
being a lawyer is not a great idea these days

>normal bachelor's degree
>job at starbucks and $40,000 debt

>law degree
>job at starbucks and around $120,000 debt

the market is bad and the education is ridiculously expensive. Not a good time, although as the other poster suggested, if you have a guaranteed opportunity when you get out you could still do okay.

I do not.
>>16940799
Well, I'm using the GI bill and VA tuition assistance, so student debt doesn't worry me much.
>>
>>16940802
dude the VA tuition assistance is like the only school debt that doesn't come off your credit report in seven years

there's no job market, and there's no job market recovery, are you listening? Just go apply at starbucks and save yourself three years of hardcore studying and probably make more money in the end (because you'll have three additional years of experience at starbucks)

ask me how I know about the seven year rule, go on

Well, there goes my hopes and dreams.

Well, anon, what would you suggest as a major with a great job market?

And I'm not gonna ask, but I'll assume you're a vet.
>not much of an assumer, but I caught the hint
