Anon my heart goes out to you, I used to be the same way.
Heres the problem. You rely too much on one person. No one wants to hear about your problems constantly. Talk about funny things and never forget to ask them how they're feeling too.
You probably talk to this person way too much. Try to distance yourself from them. You should never always be the one who starts the conversation. They should reach out to you.
I know this is super hard. I've lost a lot of friends because I get oneitis really bad.

I don't talk to them anymore, they left my life and I don't have anybody like that and I don't think I ever will again
She would start conversations and ask me how I am and I would do the same back and it was really good but I fucked up and it's over and I really do rely on one person too much like you describe but I'm out of people

I sympathise with you. Perhaps you don't really have much in common with your friends or they don't understand you on the level that you expect them to understand you. If I were you, I would put myself out there a bit and do some things where you think you might meet some like-minded people and take it from there. You might be surprised how things change.
