Guys, I really need help with some computer shit.
Yesterday I got all my parts for my computer I was planning on building, put them together and when I booted it up, my lights for my case turned on and my fabs started spinning but got no beep and no display on my monitor. Wtf do I do? I've tried taking it all apart and putting it back together and I've made sure everything is plugged in correctly... Parts ~ AMD A10 7850K (its an apu so no dedicated gpu) MOBO - ASRock FM2A68M-DG3+. Don't really need to know anything else so I'll stop there. (Yes I know the fucking mobo shield isn't in idc)
Ask your parents for a console for Christmas or your 14th birthday and learn how to write in the meantime.

Damn dude that was like, really really funny
Is there a speaker built into your motherboard or had you install one? Because that's the only way it beeps. I don't know anything about APUs. Look at the simple stuff first, check connections, different HDMI cables, set right input on monitor.

Hmmmm... operating system installed?

I used a hard drive from an old computer that has win8

Spare your sarcasm. If people are to stupid to write in a readable and understandable way, they can't expect help.
But I am having a good day, so: The mainboard is what usually makes the beep, and it does so as soon as it works (even with no hard drive). I never had a mainboard that needed an external speaker for the beep. If there is nothing on the screen and no beep, mainboard or CPU have issues. Does everything get enough power supply?

Just to be clear - you put that heatsink on before you powered it up, right? Liquified cpu's aside, you probably have a component that doesn't work. The easiest way to figure out which part it is would be to test them one at a time in a working pc.

Yea dude, I have everything plugged in where it should be and more than enough power :/ I'm thinking maybe I put too much thermal paste, could that cause this?

Yea I put the CPU cooler on before I installed, I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard.. Because I heard no beeps etc. Doesnt make sense why fans are working though?

Also, the back USB slots weren't getting any power either if that helps.
