Is my dream unreachable? I really want to work for NASA. I find the idea of aiding in space exploration interesting and I love space and the universe in general. How realistic is this goal of I am 23 and only starting school seriously?

Also in b4 janitor my question is serious.

As a heads up, most people don't start working for NASA directly. Most of their work is contracted out, including engineering positions.

Find your passion in STEM and get good research published.

Sorry to be doubting you but, do you know what it takes to get back to school at 23 and do a STEM degree? It's not easy, you'll have a lot of hard time. If you still think you can do it and know what to expect, sure why not. NASA doesn't recruit based on your age as far as I know.

uhh, why would it be easier younger?

That's not the point I'm trying to make. It's easier to get straight to college after finishing HS than having a 5-year break from hard studying. Never said anything about what age is best though.

U wot?

Where I lived, HS is indeed hard studying. I don't know for the other country, that's true.

In the US highschool and undergrad are more or less daycare.

My bad, I don't know much about the US highschools, in Switzerland it's quite hard considering how easy middle school is.
