Most likely parents or autismbux.
I'm basically a NEET (not in college or employed anywhere) but I like having my own cash. I just flip stuff on eBay (finding old-school games cheap and turn them for a profit), do odd jobs for neighbors and do work for mturk or uhrs/clickworker if there's good stuff available. Sometimes money runs low if I'm irresponsible. Probably going to look for a job after Christmas since NEET life is kinda wearing on me and I'd like my own place.

Why not build a small cabin in the forest? You could still have Internet and stuff - just buy a solar panel (low power ones for laptops and phones are cheap) and get a 4G data plan. You could grow some of the food as well.

How would you pay for internet and a phone plan thingy?
I'd love to do that, but I'd probably want a shot gun or something for
Protection from beasts at night.
How much of a supply of
Lights and kerosene would I need to be good for a year or so?

You could do stuff like dropshipping, writing articles for sites like ehow (they pay for views), learn how to make WordPress/Drupal themes (this pays very well and there's lots of demand), teaching online, etc.
There are many things you could do to make money online.

Traumatic weapons will do. They will make any intruders back off because they're painful as fuck, and they won't injure them seriously enough for you to get in trouble.

You could use a powerful rechargeable LED lamp. It would charge from solar panels in the daytime, and feed from the battery in the dark.
