Okay Americans, British, and anyone that eats Peanut Butter. Wanted to try it for the first time, bought Sun Pat Crunchy. Tasted it on bread-terrible. How do you do it? Do you toast the bread first? Could the PB be expired? It was hard to digest, taste was weird. And thought it would be sweet(er). Any advice? Maybe I am just eating it wrong. pic very much related

It's usually used for one of two things:

1) Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
2) Very dense and cheap source of calories and nutrition that lasts a long time. Eaten more for these practical benefits rather than enjoyment.

Try a "processed" brand, you can tell it's processed because it has the same consistency as actual butter (no oil rising to the top, not mostly chunks of peanut). It'll be sweeter and smoother than what you have.

Yes, just because it's the taste you're looking for and it goes better on sandwiches. Some brands are better than others but brands are usually local. Where are you from OP?
