There's probably a good reason why it's only English speaking countries that don't understand gender and that gender is primarily a literary concept. Generally being the ''female gender'' has nothing to do with your identity, it's more about the spelling of the words. Being male or female changes your pronoun and there are some spelling differences, that's basically gender.
