Hey /adv,
I have a quick question for you.
Can I use nonpermanent markers to write on the glass part of windows and then use the whiteboard eraser to completely erase it without any marks?
The thing is I'm a student and don't have enough money to buy a whiteboard, plus I don't have the time to wait for it to arrive from china. I love working/studying on my feet and the windows I have at my disposal are huge, so any advice you could give me would be appreciated.

It's sort of a personal preference. I like working/studying on my feet. It helps me concentrate when I see the equations in front of me.

I found a decent 3'x4' whiteboard on craigslist locally for like $30 OP. Check around, I'm sure you can find one near you if you live in a college town.

European here. I'm from a small country and things like craigslist are not really here just yet. Most people don't buy things online because, I think, they don't fully understand the concept. Also I do plan on buying a whiteboard in the future, it's just that I have a need currently and won't be able to buy it in time.

ah, well that sucks. Craigslist is more of an online flea-market or garage sale in the sense that it just allows local people to buy and sell items to/from other locals. It just allows you to get in touch with someone else that has an item that you want and then you generally go meet the person face-to-face to actually buy it from them.
I've bought a laptop, motorcycle, boat, and lots of other stuff through craigslist.

See if you can get parts of a white laminate kitchen countertop. They're quite heavy, but some have just the right texture and make really good whiteboards.
I'm using the one my father had when he was in college and that shit is even better than actual whiteboards, it's easy to clean.and it costs nothing if you can get it from a carpentry's waste.

But the answer is yes, you can absolutely write on your window. If you want to use permanent markers, you can do that as well. It propbably washes off with red spirit. Let me check.

If you leave permanent marker on the glass for too long it will permanently stain it though.
