Can polyamory work or are people wired for monogamy?
It works for some people but not for others.
Count yourself out if you get jealous.
In my opinion it's going to come back into vogue as the economy tightens, but only for the middle/upper-middle class.
Here you are

some people are into it, some arent
same as everything else
why do people give so much of a fuck about what others do in a sexual or relationship context?
If you have to ask it won't work for you
Homo sapiens are wired for serial monogamy, cheating, and wild orgies.
We were originally a prey species. We have no honor in our genes.
Only if it's multiple women and one man
Men are hardwired to kill competition as well as cheating mates.
Women prefer men who mate with many women as long as she holds equal or greater preference.

Middle and Upper-Middle class are distinct from one another. Think the difference between someone making mid-upper five figures a year and someone being paid six figures a year.
Humans are naturally polygamous. Look it up.
You need to look at evolution. People are probably more hard wired to be involved with only one single person at a time. Otherwise there would be conflict because there will be competition between who gets to make the baby.
"Polyamorous relationship" just means "we don't actually have any meaningful connection, we just like to fuck each other and maybe we can be friends or something too."
No such thing as being fully romantically committed to more than one person. At least for humans.
Most people are wired for monogamy. They fantasize about other possibilities, but quickly find out when reality hits that they just can't handle the additional stresses.
A few people do seem to be able to handle polyamorous configurations, however.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, do you mean poly or mono?

Polyamory.

People are naturally monogamous.
However, there are some people that are more wired for polygamy. In the same sense that some people are wired for hearing voices are undergoing rapid mood swings.

Type that first sentence in Google and see what it says
Just remember, senpai
relationships with cheating and relationships that end in divorce are per definition NOT monogamous relationships.

people also used to hunt their own game. Do you hunt your own game? Do you feel a constant itch to do so?
We're in the current year, that baby shit doesn't even matter more, humanity and society evolves.
Also, source on how you can only love one person at once. You mean love triangles never existed?
