how to get good at bantering ?
i wana be able to make quick witty retorts.
i borderline get bullied in my social circle cuz i am not good at it.Although i have my moments i get rekt most of the time.

To be honest, it just flows. It also depends to whom you are doing it. It is like barely crossing a line as in a provocation.

This is exactly for how it shouldn't be used. Banter is a seduction tool, it gives you control of the situation without the other side being able to complain.

It just comes down to being witty enough to piece together a socially appropriate retort to friendly criticism sent your way. Nobody's perfect, but being able to make light of that in good humor while being accepting of your own flaws shows a certain maturity. You just have to get a response together quickly enough without sounding butthurt or trying too hard.
