How do I stop random laughing fits? (Serious question)
I for some reason will be just going about my day and then suddenly I start laughing or smiling and I can't stop it. I don't know why this keeps happening, it didn't used to be much of a thing but it keeps getting worse. I don't understand it sometimes and it kind of scares me.
Maybe it's some sort of turrets? Can you control it at all?

Do you recall something funny?
I wouldn't be worried about it unless it creeps other people out
Sounds like you're trapped in a Giggle Loop:

Could be a neurological disorder. Not even joking. Some patients with Bipolar disorder exhibit laughing or crying fits. Certain disorders like ALS, Parkinson's, and MS can cause this as well. I'm a medical student, not a doctor, so go ask your doctor.

I did read about some of that and I'm worried it could be something like that.

I can stop it for like a minute but then it starts again.

Sometimes it can be that other times I don't even think about anything funny.
Maybe you're just happy?

why would laughing like a mental case mean I'm happy though?

I have it too I think it's a self defense mechanism for depression

Why would questioning this be sanity?
