Before you post a question, check here to see if it's already been answered
Keep your questions short and sweet for more answers.
And please no derailing arguments.

Avoid asking these common questions:

>Do girls/guys like <insert specific look>?
Some do, some don't.

>I'm shy and afraid of people/rejection. What do I do?
Get over it by practicing and exposing yourself to it.

>I like someone. What do I do?
Ask them out.

>How can I tell if someone likes me?
Ask them out.

>Where do I meet girls/guys?
Anywhere outside. Or online.

>Is my body part big/small enough?
>Am I short/tall enough?
Most likely

>Someone did something insignificant. What does it mean?
Nothing significant

>XYZ happened. Did I fuck it up with this guy/girl?
Maybe, maybe not. We're not in their head, we don't know

>This person did something that hurt my feelings. Why do guys/girls do this?
Because shit people are shit people. It's not a gendered thing

>Would you date a virgin?
As long as they aren't insecure about it

>Someone has made it abundantly clear they're no longer interested in me. Do I still have a chance?
No

>Where do I go on a first (or subsequent) date?
Pick one or more of the following: coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks, ice cream, movies, zoo, aquarium, museum, art gallery, <activity in your city>

>That one guy who keeps asking about cuddling in platonic friendships
No one wants to cuddle you. Stop asking

>Brandon or Female Brandon
Piss off.

>Frog
Also piss off.
>>
Guys, how likely are you to fall for any girl who gives you the time of day?
>>
>>16336241
Not at all. Me falling for someone entirely depends on the girl. Them treating me like a human is a requirement for me to even spend time with them on the first place.
>>
>>16336241
Every single time tbh

>>
Girls, have you ever been with a guy that doesn't cum during intercourse? How does it make you feel?
>>

totally fine because i know i won't be getting pregnant and he can last longer

i also really like to watch guys masturbate so this might play into my opinion

>>
>>16336241
3, 4 out of 10 ish I guess? If I'm going to develop a crush on someone, it's probably going to be because of stuff like shared interests.

>>16336315
If it's like your pic I don't really think it's a big deal.

>>16336318
Stomach pains like when you ate something that disagreed with you, and being emotional like when we were going through puberty.
>>

What if I only masturbate to gay porn?
>>
Do women really believe that all men want is sex?
>>
Girls, why do you fall out of love with a guy?
>>
Ladies, I'm damaged goods, but I get those stares from you. I'm Prince charming in peasant clothes. Life's too short to wait until I'm wealthy to experience All the fun with the opposite sex.
How would your dream man approach you in the street in a way that is not creepy? As I stated before, I will obviously put it into practice only when I catch your coquetting eye contact.
>>
>>16336358
Guys, why do you get bored with a girl?
>>
>>16336354
Is there actually something else you want? I thought women were a waste of time, good for nothing but putting your dicks into?
>>
>>16336391
Damn. Some asshole told you that. I prefer companionship over everything else. I want a friend before anything.
>>
>>16336384
I've never been dishonest with a woman. If I ever lost interest, it was because something we shared began to diminish.

I'll take a stab.

Usually, its because she stops putting her best foot forward. She gets lazy about giving back, she only receives. She thinks she's "safe", so she stops taking good care of herself. She expects me to initiate anything interesting, and the most she can do is order pizza and find something on netflix.

I'm sure other guys have different reasons, but short of her turning into a psycho those are the general reasons I'll change my mind about a girl and move on when the relationship is a few months old.
>>
>>16336407
Then that's exactly why girls fall out of love with a guy. They're no longer the guy that they fell in love with.

Girl I work with intentionally rubbed her butt against my hip while she was bent over. Not brushed. Rubbed. Back and forth for a few seconds. I even addressed it, awkwardly, by just going "....nice."

Guys, do you think that a girl would be able to tell you visit 4chan?
>>
Girls, for what reasons would you get back with your three year ex-boyfriend that's essentially been a strained fwb for months, after saying you never ever want anything to do with them again? How long until you missed them?
>>
>>16336489
Probably just wanted reliable sex with someone I knew was clean
>>
>>16336481

Depends, if she has had experience with it, maybe, if not I think most of us are good.
>>
>>16336481
If she browses 4chan herself yeah most likely. If not I don't think anyone would notice.
>>
>>16336481
Whenever I think I've found a guy from 4chan, it turns out he got the joke from reddit or facebook. Every time.

So I dont think I'd be able to tell, since any self respecting user is probably smart enough to not spurt memes in real life. I now assume they're just redditors or they just see memes shared on their facebook feeds and parrot them.
>>
>>16336513

If she could tell that'd be kinda hot, in a wierd way. Or possibly just scary.

OK then, exception that doesn't disprove the rule, why do women in general, but by no means all, think it's ok to be all like "I want a 6'3 Adonis who is also a doctor with a twelve inch dick made of chocolate that ejaculates money" and then flip their shit when a guy mentions he has dealbreakers.

I ask because I was out for drinks with friends after work tonight and one of the females was like "I really like X from marketing, he's cute and nice and I'd totally date him if he was a little taller. It's just a thing I can't get over, you know?" And I'm like "Totally, if a woman doesn't keep herself fit or has kids she pretty much doesn't exist to me sexually." And by the reactions at the table you'd have thought I'd said "Hitler cunt all victims asked for it."

It's not the first time I've noticed something like this, and the double standard is kind of disturbing.

I'm planning on asking this girl out to the movies. It's about thirty minutes away from where she lives. What do I talk about on the car ride there? She's pretty shy and introverted and I really don't want to stoop down to asking about classes or academic drivel.

She's into literature and has a peculiar sense of humor that most people don't get if that helps
>>
>>16336601
you guys dont have any common interests or anything?
>>
>>16336601
If you can't talk to her for 30 minutes, how do you expect to have a relationship with her? Jesus Christ, even talking about class is better than an awkward silence
>>
>>16336604
>>16336605
I don't know her too well but we're in similar fields so we have some classes together. We've talked a couple times and we're on nice, friendly terms and she's been giving me some good signs. I'd rather just jump right into trying a relationship
>>
>>16336632
Just talk to her about anything and everything. We can't give you scripts to follow
>>
The girl I'm dating is meeting up with her orbiter in the library for some study work. It's just the two of them. Even if he's just an orbiter and they're doing neutral shit in a neutral place, I don't like the idea that he might try to break out of orbit.

Officially we're not exclusive, so I shouldn't be bothered by it. Unfortunatly, I still am. How should I deal with it?
>>
>>16336651
The only people who are worried about orbiters are orbiters themselves. And if you're on the same level he is, then she's fair game

Why is it so hard for me to befriend a female?

They seem to ignore me for the most part.
I just want a few women to hang out and converse with.

What are some topics I can bring up to try and spark a conversation?

Will you ignore guys who are unattractive to you because you assume they are trying to get in ur pants?
>>
>>16336659

If you talk that autistically to them as well, I can understand why they ignore you
>>
>>16336659

I don't get it either. I only ever notice someone's referred to me as a "female" when someone else points it out.

I was born in a small village. I was still a child when we were raided by soldiers. Foreign soldiers. Torn from my elders, I was made to speak their language. With each new post, my masters changed along with the words they made me speak. With each change, I changed, too. My thoughts, personality, how I saw right and wrong. Words can kill.

I doubt there would be anyone with that big an age gap who I would be attracted to, who would have the same level of maturity, be in the same place in life, ect. It would most likely present too much of an incompatibility.

Not to mention stuff like health problems in children arise from large age gaps, and chance of divorce increases, probably because of the incompatibility reasons mentioned above.

it's pretty weird for her to not have warmed up to you yet. have you not been spending good quality time with her? if not you really just need to let her get comfortable with you. don't try to be all lovey dovey with her too fast if she absolutely hates you, especially now that shes 2 because now she can pretty much understand what she likes and doesnt like. like, i wouldn't start off with taking her somewhere with you alone, but maybe hang out with the mom+her at the same time
>>
Did someone of you guys actually have a lasting 'love at first sight relationship'?
>>
>>16336893
Once. But it became increasingly serious the more we learned about each other. We literally saw each other as our soul mates.
But it kind of didn't help that she was so in love with me despite having a boyfriend of 3 years during.
I wouldn't let her cheat on him or anything. Instead I told her she could break up with him, which she came really close to doing. I got tired of it and decided to break it off with her because of her indecisiveness.

All in all, I think what she wanted was more attention than me for what it was, because I gave her all the attention her boyfriend didn't.
>>
>>16336893
I have adored my boyfriend ever since I saw him. I mean, I adored everything I could adore only by looking at him. He was my older brother's friend and I saw him around our house a lot. He was so strange and attractive at the same time that I couldn't take it, it's like he brain fucked me... and riled me up like a catholic school girl at the same time so...

I met him when I was 14 and he was 18. So I couldn't really pursue him because I was technically a child. I just spent high school fawning over him.

When I was 18 we reconnected, but in a closer atmosphere and I asked him out. He said yes, and it went on from there. We're almost at our 5 year anniversary.

It's weird because I did feel like there was some sort of "love at first sight" thing for me. But after a while into our relationship, I really started to fall in love with other things about him too. Like all his inner thoughts, his personality, his fears, etc. They were different than what I expected, but so much better than I expected too.
>>
Girls, why do you think I attract girls who tend to be pretty unstable? Roughly every girl I've dated has ended up giving me some sort of psychological trauma for a short time, which I just end up repressing.
>>
>>16336411
>>16336407
What if girls get bored in the relationship?
>>
>>16336559
This is something people do online. Tumblr/reddit is where the women have the upper hand, but go to r9k and you will see guys with no hobbies, average looks, no life experience/stories to tell, no social skills and more often than not issues with depression and/or addiction, unironically desiring a girl who is cute, loyal, has something nice to say and is inexperienced to top it off.

In real life this shit does not fly. But in our dark inner insides it's pretty universal to just want what's best, regardless of what you have to offer. The reason they lose their shit when it's about their own insecurities/issues is because it is a reflection of the attitude they'll encounter in real life and breaks them out of their fantasy.
>>
I've been trying to get to know a girl in one of my classes better but she seems really shy around me. But she is really active on social media so I'm pretty confused. Any advice on how to approach her better would be appreciated
>>
>>16336759
Don't worry, it's a phase. Try to take it with as much grace as you can muster, keep investing in the relationship, do not ever let her have more time with mommy because you feel she prefers that. Most likely she will swing right back around in a while and suddenly want you to do everything with and for her and get fussy being alone with her mother. This is a normal part of the development.
>>
>>16336938
Add her on said social media, talk to her.
Ask her for her number.
You're doing exactly what OP said not to do.
>>
>>16336922
I was at one point unstable. I have PTSD and sometimes get clinically depressed, the jury was out on me having Schizoaffective Disorder, but I don't think so since I haven't had a break down in about 4 years now. I went to therapy for about 8 years and I consider myself pretty normal now. I just have some routines for my anxiety.... but that's about it.

When I was a psycho, I guess I had the idea that some kinda "bad", yet charismatic guy that didn't seem to care much about anything would find me and want to take care of me no matter what, he wouldn't care about my messed up brain and I wouldn't have any more problems because Mr. Imperfectly-Perfect over here would act as my anti-depressant.

I always chose jerks in short. Not really big jerks. I dated guys who were kinda meanly-alpha. But I always thought, "Oh he won't treat me like that because he loves me."

Now, I've never been abused in a relationship, but these kinda bad-ass, popular, strange men were never what I so unrealistically expected them to be.
>>
>>16336945
Well it's good that you caught on to that.
I won't lie, I had this propensity for being attracted to girls who had something or other that was a little off. Whether it be depression or some sort of anxiety, I felt the need to be there for them to help them through it with these feelings of mine.
I got ran over in quite a few of them.
Now I don't put up with the nonsense. Maybe it was just a phase during my late adolescence, but I prefer to talk to a girl and see if any of those serious flags come up so that I know to steer clear instead.
Oh hey I just realized I grew up. Pic related.
>>
>>16336922
Probably because you like them. When men complain about crazy bitches they dated they typically neglect to see that parts of the crazy (the intensity, the adventurous element, the unpredictable woman not to be tamed) appeal to them very much. If you are used to relationships in which you have drugged out sex one day and fights in which you both throw things around the next etc, a healthy relationship can feel pretty boring and stale. Especially if you are someone who is hungry for thrills, easily bored, desiring a flashy rollercoaster life.

I'm not saying that this is the case with you, but it often is. If you don't recognize this, it could be in part because you feel more secure and comfortable with girls who resemble women you have already at some point loved and seduced, and fail to realize that some of these similarities imply similar lack of mental stability.

I would try to change the way you meet/pick up women. If you are used to going with the partygirl who comes up to you first, make the move on the girl who looks like she's having a bad time and wishes she just stayed home. If you are drawn to quiet broody types, try to find someone extraverted with a happy aura. Basically force yourself to go for another type or try a strategy that attracts different women.

If nothing works, you might want to consider the possibility that you are not that stable yourself and attract people who recognize that.
>>
>>16336913
>>16336920

Thank you for your advice guys! I honestly appreciate it.

Of course I asked because there is this girl I can't get out of my head for more than two years now! Haven't talked much to hear since I finished school but I randomly met her yesterday and she put on the biggest smile and hugged me when she saw me. This really made my day.

I so hope she shares the same feelings with me and I didn't miss my chance with her by waiting too long to finally make a move.

Do girls actually like having their tits played with during, or is it something they just put up with to please whoever they're having sex with?
>>
>>16337060
There are two bullet points in the OP that refer to you. Go read them, and please don't shoot up the thread if the word 'bullet' triggered you just now
>>
>>16337095
wow, rude :^)
>>
>>16337060
I can't cum without it. But some girls are different. When my bf plays with my tits and licks my nipples it makes everything feel better.
>>
>>16337060
feels breddy good but not orgasmic good.
>>
>>16337060
I would also like to know this. Last time on party I was kissing and groping girl. I would like to know if it hurts or it feels good
>>
Girls I've been talking to a girl at my work for a few months, and she's been recently single and I was flirting with her at my work last night quite physically but not gonna see her for a while. I heard she said she missed me the last time I left for a bit to a co-worker, so I text her and she said 'I miss you all the time buddy' isn't this basically a friend zone word? Even though she initiates convos, leaves multiple x etc. anyway I was out with friends a bit drunk and said dunno about miss but I've been thinking about you a lot, then she just asks me what I meant? What should I say?

Ty for reading diary sorry for bad English.
>>
In an attempt to get more confident, I began seeing everyone as lesser than me. I did become more confident in the process....I fucked girls by the day, but never got a lasting relationship out of any of them. I can't help but see everyone I interact with as inferior now. I truly believe I'm better. Part of me is telling me that I shouldn't be asking help from a bunch of losers on this board, but I've exhausted all my other options.

I still tell myself I'm the greatest first thing in the morning.

What should I do?
>>
Girls, would you go out with someone to a place neither of you really care about?

Over the past month, I've started seeing this girl regularly. Before that, we were close classmates, so nowadays that adds up to a lot of seeing.
Anyway, all week long she's been telling me she wants to go to an art exhibition with me. The what, where and when she left to me entirely. However, there isn't much worth watching around us in the next few weeks. She doesn't seem to have any preference either.
Would it be 'okay' to just say "fuck it" and pick one at random? Is it 'enough' to just enjoy each other's company in a place with things to see?
>>
>>16337217
I'd never associate with someone whom I couldn't call my equal. Take that as you will.
>>
Why do girls like watching guys when they're asleep/passed out? I can understand doing this with your boyfriend but I've seen them do this with someone they've just met.
>>
So, I like a girl I am pretty much best friends with. I help her out a lot and we fit together really well. She moved to another town to study and is now living in a flat with 1 guy and 2 girls. The guy tries to start something with her, kissed her and something else happened, didn't want to know. She doesn't want this to happen and talks about this with me, wants advice, I don't know. Why would she? Should I still ask her out or is it meaningless if she lives few hours away?

>>16336241
>Guys, how likely are you to fall for any girl who gives you the time of day?
Depends, sometimes it will work. Maybe the guy doesn't get it or is really shy. If this is the case you should ask them directly.

>>16337217
Sounds narcissistic. Would like to have the courage to just do it like you, I just hate me instead of hating the assholes who treat me like shit. You can't generalize everyone, there are a lot of people who are worse then you, but there are some that are as good and some that can do things better then you. Doesn't make you a bad person. If I could choose, I would not care anymore and do it like you do.
>>
I'd like input from anyone thanks. I'm going on my first ever date can you rate my idea please.

I'll pick her up around lunch and we'll grab some food to go at a Mexican place (which she loves) then we will walk down the river for a few kms to a slightly hidden spot where the ducks are and feed them/talk. I dont know where to go after that hoping I can just wing it and not sperg out.

Opinions?
>>
>>16337060
Different opinions, but I am fairly confident that the majority of women enjoy it to some extent. I think the thing is more that porn focuses on it a lot because it is a visually pleasing thing, while in real life plenty of women are not sensitive there to the extent of moaning and shivering over having their nipples licked. They are ultimately designed to feed babies, which isn't always a gentle process.

But how sensitive you are is an individual thing and I have heard women who say they can (almost) climax just from nipple play. I think the idea that women don't like it mostly comes from the discrepancy between porn women going crazy over it and many real life women finding it lackluster to pay a lot of attention to compared to other stuff.

Personally I agree with >>16337143, I enjoy it and don't want my breasts to be neglected, but it's not nearly good enough to cum from and I'd rather have my throat licked if he wants to please me (or just give oral, of course). But nowhere near "putting up" with it. Besides to me if sex is really enjoyable you just feel like a cat bathing in the sun and every part that's being touched is just fucking grand.

>>16337162
It can hurt if you are too rough. Cup it primarily, instead of squeezing. The bottom is the fullest part anyway, and from there you can weigh them in your hands and start teasing/tickling her nipple. If you didn't clamp down like a squirrel biting down on a nut it's probably fine though.
>>
>>16337518
That's a terrible date just see a movie together.
>>
>>16337518
That sounds awesome! Going for a walk is a great way to get to know someone and ducks are badass
>>
>>16337518
Sounds good, only suggestion: if the date doesn't go very well, don't go out to the river. She will dread it feeling like you are forcing a moment for the two of you to kiss. It will be awkward for her to watch how close you are moving to her, how closely you sit down next to her.. This is the kind of thing that is romantic if the moment is right, but if it's not you can't force it. I'd say, if conversation wasn't flowing naturally and you didn't feel chemistry so far, take her to a bar where there's less pressure because if there's a lull there's other people's noise to take the edge off your silence. Not to mention you can get tipsy (no more than that) and have an environment to talk where you're both not supposed to eat your food and she doesn't need to wonder whether you are planning to make a move then and there. If you relax then and things start to flow, you can always ask her to take a walk with you afterwards.
>>
>>16337492
It's easier to fantasize about something when you're looking right at it. Your imagination can change the setting and minor details while enjoying the complete accuracy of the subject. When she's looking at him, she's not seeing him asleep on a couch. She's seeing him reclining on a chaise longue in a beachside hut, wearing a loose white linen shirt over his tanned body, having a midday snooze while on a resort vacation with her.

Women thrive on fantasy. A lot of guys on this board would benefit from learning those four words.
>>
>>16337552
Stop with the fucking horrible "go to a movie" advice.
>>
>>16337518
That's a good start, but an open-ended walk can be a bit boring. It's not like you're walking through a zoo and have interesting stuff to look at. You're at the mercy of your environment and it might not deliver. Try to weave in something which you enjoy. Pick a route that brings you past a small shop or something and browse around for cute little memorabilia. Even if you only spend 15 minutes in there, it'll break up the monotony of the walk and give you something to talk about for the remainder. Plus it'll leave her with a trinket by which to remember your first date.
>>
>>16337552
But you can't talk during a movie.

>>16337554
Thanks.

>>16337557
I wouldn't force her or try to kiss her or anything I dont want to stuff this up. That movement/sitting thing is something I've always had problems with if I accidently touch her hand she's going to get an apology.

I dont drink and it will probably look creepy if I suggest that and dont drink or should we still go to a bar if its not going well?
>>
>>16337164
>I was out with friends a bit drunk and said dunno about miss but I've been thinking about you a lot, then she just asks me what I meant? What should I say?

Tell her what you fucking meant. If you want to get with her then tell her.

>Guys, if a girl was really into gentle femdom and shit but was like 5 feet tall, flat as a board, and pretty much permanently looked 14 years old would you still be into it?
Femdom is kind of broad but I'd go along with much of it if it wasn't outright degrading.
And petite girls are actually pretty damn perfect for femdom, especially gentle stuff, it only makes it hotter when she's the boss despite being half your size.

>Also, are girls that like
shota
creepy?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH THE THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME
>>
>>16336536
I don't find anything weird about her interests, nor do I think that her physique matters in that respect. But I wouldn't be into those things because I'm simply not into them. Femdom and shota aren't my cup of tea. But you do you.

>>
>>16337847
Because your mind is having trouble integrating those thoughts into your long-term memory and then letting go of them. That's actually something which happens during sleep but you've got this feedback loop going. Bad thoughts so you can't sleep, no sleep so the bad thoughts remain, bad thoughts so you can't sleep...

You've either gotta push through on your own or talk to a mental health professional about handling these thoughts during your waking hours. They won't go away forever but you need to be able to sleep most nights at least.
>>
>>16337777
I bet you thought you were being alpha by telling her you want to be her man too, huh?
>>
>>16337886
Well, yes. It says so right in the post.

Are you deliberately ignoring the rest of it to keep the bitterness train going? The original answer you gave was clear enough, even if your later responses make it slightly less credible.
>>

Do girls actually like being approached by a total stranger? Before anyone says "it's not creepy if you're attractive", I actually consider myself above average in look,s but I still can't get over the weird feeling in going out of your way to socialize with a complete stranger because you like how they look.
>>
I hate myself for being the crazy girlfriend, but I visited my boyfriend's OKCupid profile... after we got together I checked it occasionally (new relationship insecurities) and he never logged on, so I stopped worrying.

Lately I feel like he's been acting a bit strange... distant, maybe. So I checked it a few weeks ago. He's been logging on about once a week while I'm asleep or otherwise away. He's marked as 'seeing someone' and 'looking for new friends', but could it be he wants to break up with me and he's just scouring the market?

I don't think I can bring this up without sounding crazy or making things worse.
>>
>>16338017
It's a spectrum. Some do or don't to varying degrees. I'm comfortable with it.
>>

>>
Today is the first time in weeks this one girl hasn't texted me all day. It's kind of bugging me, but I don't really know what to say either.

I'll probably run into her tomorrow. Should I send her a "hey what's up" text or whatever today?
>>
>>16338020
I don't think you need to bring this up because a grown ass adult man knows not to have an OKCupid profile while in a relationship. So obviously he's not a grown ass adult man. What do you think "bringing it up" is going to accomplish with a guy like that? He's either far too stupid to understand basic courtesy or far too much of an asshole to care.

Wake up Anon: your boyfriend has a fucking OKCupid profile. Hello. Is your brain turned on?

I know girls dont usually have a problem meeting guys, but if you are a girl looking to meet guys, where would you look? and what are signs of interest that are less obvious?

I know this isnt a science but im curious how girls think cause they are used to being chased so much.
>>
>>16338048

>>
Why do i have to act like a jerk to raise my social status, to get girls? Its such bullshit, since I don't want to, but apparently have to
>>
>>16338207

you dont have to be a jerk, you just have to have a personality.

only crappy girls deal with guys that treat them like shit.
>>
>>16338207
Two reasons. One is that at least by being a jerk, you're doing something. Good manners are welcome but they're not worth anything positive. They don't make you appealing. They don't count in your favor. By being a jerk you might actually display some admirable qualities.

The other reason is that what you think is "jerk" behavior is probably perfectly normal. Lots of guys think that you must be a jerk if you make fun of someone or antagonize them. Well no. That's called playful teasing. It's not taken seriously or personally. Maybe there are other things which you think jerks do which aren't really bad at all.
>>
>>16338207
you don't. you don't have any social status because you're retarded, why would you think your retard self could figure out what went wrong?
>>
>>16338017
Personally I feel the same way you do about 100% cold approaches. I feel differently if we already made long eye contact and/or smiled at one another, or your gaze crossing multiple times. It's enough to make it plausible that he was touched by something in your smile or how it felt to look at each other, as opposed to just thinking someone looks good. And, not unimportant, if you already acknowledged each other she already has an impression of you and does not merely register you as "oh, guy who wants something from me".
>>
>>16338121
If she values it so much and her decision was so off, she shouldn't need your coaxing to realize that and set things straight.

Not even the same anon here...

How do you deal with a overly possessive women who claims is only your friend and always tries to crawl back when you cut her off..
I'm a male and I cut the girl off for six months now she is being progressively more sexual from more intimate hugging and constant physical contact.
Should I cut her off again or just give her D
I need pros and cons on both ends and yes I know she's mentally insane
Also I was really harsh to her I told her I hated her and for her to die among other things
>>
Both guys and girls, how tacky are nude, opaque tights, when worn underneath sheer black tights?
>>
>>16338131
Full honesty, I am in this position and have no clue. My university it 90-95% women, even if I got a guy there interested in me I feel no desire to compete with all of them constantly. If you know what the scene is like in stem educations where there's a handful of girls for fifty+ guys, you know what to picture.

I don't like clubbing, have pretty antisocial hobbies, and I absolutely do not dare/want to make an online dating profile. For one thing, I feel that attraction is mostly in the details (the way their eyes sparkle, their smile, how it feels to hold their gaze, the way they move and stand, their mannerisms) and it is way too easy to dismiss people as uninteresting looking that you'd find great in real life. I am also looking for someone who is really a good fit for me, who wants the same things I do, who I really fell for - not just a complacency relationship to not be alone.

Up until now, I try to get out more and go to events (poetry slams/literary nights, amateur music, parties of friends) where I seem to have a relatively good chance of finding someone I can connect with. So far this has been largely unsuccessful because they are not events aimed at socializing, most people come with a plus one, and so on.
Part of this is very much my fault, I do get encouraging signals sometimes from guys (largely either my own customers or people working at places where I'm a regular) but I am just afraid to make a fool out of myself if I interpret it wrong, and I am very frightened of the scenario of taking the plunge with someone only to realize that you have nothing in common and you have to break the news to him. I do not do well with rejecting people and have only had terrible experiences with this.

I am very busy with studying right now but if I was a lot more desperate in a year or so, I think I'd honestly just resort to asking all my friends if they know someone I should meet or someone who can introduce me to another group of people.
>>
>>16338256
You have to show me a picture because I have no idea what you mean. Why would anyone want to wear two pairs of tights on top of one another?
>>
>>16338256
only a little, but that's super weird. are you trying to not shave or just can't stand having moles or this is drag what?
>>
>>16338251
Tell her off. Reply that you don't experience or want her as a friend.

You said that she's crazy herself and look at the shit she's already pulling now. Do you really think you can just fuck her, go on with your life and not have this bite you in the ass? You give her the power to mindfuck you with potential STDs or pregnancies, to spread rumors about your body/sexual skill, anything.

You don't need pros and cons, you just desperately want to believe that there are pros because sex.

Question for guys.

as a guy it's a huge turnon if a girl is assertive. far too many are passive/play games.
>>
>>16338398
Yep. Even while I was still in college, I was too old to be dealing with that kind of inexperienced trepidation. Grown adults talk to each other. They don't do this silly friend shit. I don't want to date a gaggle of high schoolers.

>>16338398

Fair enough. I'm not usually such a pussy, I just never see him when he isn't with his friend and the idea of asking him or pulling him to the side in front of him is so fucking embarrassing.
>>
>>16338427
From an outsider's point of view, "pulling him to the side...is so fucking embarrassing" sounds like you're calling him an embarrassment. Obviously that's not what you mean but I'm trying to make a point that your feelings look different from the outside than they do to you. What feels to you like innocent shyness looks from the outside like you're too immature for a relationship. Do yourself a favor and get people to see you in the best light.

he's a douchebag. you know this. so what is your question?
>>
>>16338498
There's nothing to be bothered about.

>how things should work
No, you're going too far in assuming that your personal preferences or values are the absolute correct ones. Some people simply don't like texting and shouldn't be put in a position to initiate conversations in a way they simply wouldn't prefer to have.

Find something that she is willing to do with you during the day and capitalize on that instead. You communicate to her via text, she communicates to you via something else and it all balances out.

Can a girl suddenly drop interest and start getting feelings for someone else or does this mean she never gave a fuck about me at all.

dated 3 times, romantic first date others great as well. She broke it of with a long as text explaining how she started having feelings for some friend of hers who does not even have feelings for her and she did not had 'true' feelings for me.
>>
>>16338518
That's immaturity. So I guess both parts of your question are true. Their feelings were fleeting and not even that serious to begin with.

i have one question for females here

are you willing to stay with your male partner during hardships in his life (loss of a job, loss of a family member or a friend, illness, economical hardships...) or will you just dump him and try to find something less stressful and easier?
>>
>>16338510

yet she's on whatsapp a fair bit (see it through last online) which leads me to believe that she doesn't see the need to talk to me specifically which is kind of bumming me out but alright

I know right. my theory was that it was a dumb typical teenage girl thing.

Hey why are girls such whores?

None of them like me, and I know for a fact they have sex with lesser, more shallow men. Why can't they have sex with me instead? How do I get women to have sex with me? Don't say be nice, I know you sluts only want good looking guys. But I AM good looking, why don't you women ever admit it?
>>
>>16338531
I'd stay with him and I know he'd do the same for me. Life has always been hard and stressful for me to be honest, so I am used to that sort of thing and think that having someone by your side makes it worth it. My boyfriend has been stressed since the day I met him. But he's got a great sense of humor and we help relieve each other.

I like an autistic girl. Not a tard, mind you. Just a normal girl who is slightly impaired and a bit more shy than usual yet brutally honest. We go out every now and then, and she's usually talking about the next activity we're going to do together.

When we're together, most of the time we're bringing the bants and enjoying ourselves with whatever thing we're doing. We started off taking things slow, but over time I got more flirty, clingy (yeah, not a good thing) and touchy on our dates. Both in text and in person she has near-zero response to these, but I keep being this straightforward. Outside of the near-zero response, she keeps wanting to see me if I'm nearby, keeps out-texting me and keeps reminding me of our next date.

Is it wrong of me to be this straightforward with an autistic girl, or should I just continue as usual? I didn't think much of this at first, but it kind of feels like I'm taking advantage of her with her lack of response, like
>I'm not hearing a no here
Should I go back to taking it slow and wait for her to open up herself? Or should I assume that her continued interest means that she's okay with or actually likes my behavior?
>>
>>16338659

STANDING
>>
>>16338605
Nope, the quality of these threads has gone up noticeably since the OP list.

The only real problem now are the questions that are way too long and specific.
>>
>>16338586
Just ask to hang out. Stop worrying so much.
>>
>>16338665
My gut feeling is that she's going along with the flow because it's how she expresses her care for you. She knows that she can't relate to how you feel about certain things. Yet even though she doesn't share those feelings, she goes with them because it's her way of reciprocating affection. It sounds sweet. So keep going and, at especially delicate points, just be as blunt as she can be. Flat out ask her if she's okay with the situation. But don't read into the non-response. It's not a lack of interest. She just doesn't speak that language. Learn how to read into hers.

if im 30 and want to have fun and not get married, am I fucked?

I am not fond of the idea of marriage. seen too many of them fail, including my parents. plus I dont feel ready to settle yet.

what are my options? im already thinking it's too late for me anyways cause im not marrying a single mom.
>>
>>16338531
I'll be the realist "bitch". I'd say it depends. I definitely am not going to run at the first sight of hardship. But there's a line.

I was with a guy who had terrible anxiety, unemployed, flunked out of college. I dedicated my life to helping him. I did what ever I could to make his life a little easier. I provided for him, I kept he apartment/clothes/dishes clean, I gave him emotional support any time of day, no matter how late or how much I had to do at work the next day.
It took me FOUR YEARS to convince him to go to a therapist. I eased him into work, even filling out the applications for him. He had maybe three jobs that he kept for a couple weeks before he decided it was too stressful to keep going.
I tried to convince him that if he couldn't work, he should get on disability. But he needed a doctor's backing and he wouldn't go to one.
We ended up living in my parent's because I couldn't support us both alone.
On top of his unwillingness to improve, he didn't treat me well at all. He would tear into me when I didn't phrase something well, while I apologized and tried so hard to watch what I said. When I calmly told him about "when you say this like this, it hurts" he would brush me off, saying I was overreacting and he didn't mean it.

His anxiety made him unable to give me emotional support. Whenever I showed I was sad (I have depression) he would freak out about not knowing what to do, and it would end up with me comforting him while he sobbed that he was a bad boyfriend.
Any time I tried to discuss some of the ways he treated me, he'd take it to mean that he didn't deserve to live.

Life was hell. I was constantly walking on eggshells. I was stressed out, barely paying the bills.
I was calm and patient and understanding for YEARS before I realized I was enabling him, I was bitter and not as warm, and neither of us would move forward while together. His illness drove us apart.

So it's not as simple as "Be honest and tough through it."
>>
>>16338665

all of my ex gfs (well, those i was in long relationships with) were there during some kind of hardships, but i was just asking because i see more and more women starting to freak out when some small shit happens.

>>
Girls: Would you go on a date with a guy that is in the same class as you but never talked to and asked out of the blue?
>>
>>16338722
Again, you have to respect the divide between the two of you. I'm sure she has a libido but she doesn't have "a mood" on her end. You do moods. She operates on a purely sensible level. She has a libido and sexuality is how she satiates it. Asking doesn't sabotage that in any way.
>>
Why do I bore pretty much every girl I talk to? I can joke and have fun with guys, but any small signs of interest vanish after she's talked to me once.
>>
>>16338688
Third party, I think that's completely reasonable. It wasn't the first sign of hardship that made you walk away, but nearly half a decade of it. I can get the original guys fears though, when I was trying to deal with some loss all of the women I knew pretty much gave me the cold shoulder, discounting those in the immediate family. So I've always felt a bit paranoid about opening up to other women since.
>>
>>16338727
I would never date someone who hasn't had at least one pleasant conversation with me. That sounds like a terrible idea. I have no idea why I might even like him, much less why he likes me apart from my looks and maybe some questions I asked in class.
>>
>>16338726

>>
girls, how goes a perfect first date?

Lately I just think it does not matter what I do or say, if she does not find me attractive, it is a lost cause. OTOH I can act like a retard, if she thinks I'm out of her league. Is there really nothing to dating than what meets the eye?
>>
>>16338743

>>
>>16338739

no, it isnt just about sex. companionship is important to me. I just dislike the idea of marriage, since i've seen so many of them turn out horribly.

besides, the only reason to get married is if you have kids IMO.
>>
>>16338747
Well the answer is sill the same. Don't get married, even though it will limit your dating pool. There are still women out there who are compatible with you.
>>
>>16338746
Thanks, but that is missing the question. Do you have fun when you find the guy attractive? Have you ever had fun with an ugly guy? Did he had to jump through the same hoops?
>>
>>16338747
There's a lot else. A spouse is treated as one of your family, legally. One example is that if one of you is braindead, the other can call the shots.
Or just straight up be in the hospital room outside of non familial visiting hours.
>>
>>16338688
well, honestly, you even did more than you should have

i mean, he didnt do anything for 4 years. im sorry to say, but he was just not worth it then.

anyway, i wasnt talking about hardships when one partner is just not willing to fight for himself/herself. im talking about other types of hardships, something you cant control, like a death of a loved one or cancer or something.
>>
>>16338774
It didn't miss the question. You're so obsessed with looks that you didn't realize how my answer describes a fun date with zero reference to appearance. That obsession is way more ruinous to any date I'd have than physical shortcomings would ever be, because there's no fun or laughter to be had with a guy that insecure.
>>
>>16338775
Not that anon, but I think more people should know that all of that is achievable through opaperwork outside of marriage too. You could even put your best friend down.

It's just that most people never get around to it, so all the hospital has are records of family/marriage.
>>
>>16338785

guys are insecure cause they are worried they arent good enough

attractive guys arent insecure cause they know women find them hot

thats the difference
>>
>>16336481

No, unless you say something in the lines that you want to do/have done something to a child before. Then I'd be fucking creeped. I would love to be your shota, though.

>>16337518
You have been given good advice (except the movie part of course). I just want to say that it's good to be flexible during the date; make ideas up on the spot if she says she likes going to some kind of place, end the date earlier if you feel you're not clicking together etc.

>>16338816
Sounds like they don't want to talk to you. Not in a bitchy sort of way, but they're not exactly excited that you've shown up. Those are pretty blunt, uninspiring messages. If that's a chick and you like her or something, you probably have no chance. She/they sound really unimpressed.

>>16338816
You messed up. Instead of saying something logical and bland you needed to spike the conversation and be silly/cheeky and emotive.
>>
>>16338813
I think that's pretty dramatic. His job and reputation are hardly at stake. I've had personal relationships with professors in the past (hanging at their houses, going to parties, etc.) We're adults, this isn't a lifetime movie. It's not the same as a teacher sleeping with a high school student. I know how to flirt, but I don't want to flirt if he's completely opposed to the idea. Hence testing the waters.
>>
>>16338844

being friends with != sticking your dick in a student.

big difference there.
>>
>>16338785
very subtle, but that is clearly bullshit. Yes, attractive guys are funny and interesting and not the other way around.
Are you offended because you don't like pointing out how shallow women are?
>>
>>16338843
I fucking suck at that and texting in general.
>>
>>16338844
>His job and reputation are hardly at stake.
I went to a pretty typical university and it was explicitly forbidden for professors to have intimate relationships with their students under penalty of termination. And rightly so given the significant ethical questions it raises. It's not "a professor." It's your professor. Even if it weren't a threat to his job, it absolutely would stain his reputation among colleagues, that he should seemingly be accepting sex in exchange for grades.

Yet all that aside, seriously, you're asking 4chan how to flirt with a guy. That's not the sort of person who seduces a professor. Those people are already well-versed in swinging around their sex appeal to great effect. They know how to make an inanimate scarecrow jizz its pants. You don't know shit and I'm embarrassed for you on multiple fronts, mainly for how thoroughly oblivious you are to every facet of this.
>>
>>16338326
Clear communication is the best advice for sex questions. Ask him about his fetishes, then tell him that you have a thing for worship, watch his reactions and go from there.

>>16338398
I would understand your shyness and find it cute, but I probably wouldn't get your intentions if they aren't very obvious.

>>16338586
Try going to a plce that isn't really romantic. For example, mention that you really want to watch a certain film (one that is not romantic, of course) at the cinema, then ask him if he woulld like to go. Then, after the film, say that you are hungry and suggest going to eat something at a simple place.

>>16338774
If a girl has already accepted to go on a date with me, I think that I've passed the "does she think I'm hot?" phase. From there, your appearance won't matter much. Unless you get uglier or stop taking care of yourself.
>>
>>16338851
>and not the other way around
So not only are you answering a question posed to women, but you think you know better than women.

Not only do you seem to have gender identity issues, but you're actually really good at being catty. If I were you I'd just schedule the surgery right now.

>>
>>16338869
>women in charge what they want and be honest about it

indeed, that is what I'm asking, because empirical evidence points to that direction. I'm a funny guy to fat girls and not interesting to hot girls
>>
>>16338504
Having a good line of communication is important in every relationship. I'm surprised that you manage to maintain any at all tbh. Personally, I wouldn't invest much into someone with that kind of limitation. I'm a guy btw.

Also, why don't you have a phone, if you don't mind my asking?
>>
>>16338504
As a guy, I barely use my phone for anything. As a security enthusiast, I'm not really keen on Google, Apple and being connected at all times. I enjoy real-life conversations and as long as they were scheduled regularly I wouldn't care about minor conversations otherwise. Meeting a girl turns on all her privacy settings or doesn't engage in social media fascinates me, but it may be observational bias, many girls can't do without their phones more than guys.

Me and a friend had a political argument 7 days ago, and she brought it up again 2 days afterwards, which went poorly as well. So we haven't talked in five days.

I personally don't give a shit about it, but shes one of the people that often get really emotional over that stuff, and the argument fit snugly into that category for her. What's an appropriate time to let her cool off?
>>
>>16339052
She can talk to you whenever she's ready to be civil. At some point you have to let her sleep in the bed she's made for herself.
>>
>>16339052

what was the argument? this might explain a lot
>>
>>16339000
If she's friendly and smiling it doesn't necessarily mean she's interested because she could just be trying to be polite. Similarly, if she's quiet and doesn't make eye contact it doesn't necessarily mean she's not interested because she could just be shy or have other things on her mind.

Ultimately the only way to know for certain is to ask her out.
>>
>>16339061
It would hardly explain anything that wasn't already spelled out. People have strong opinions about politics.

>>16339052
If it doesn't blow over soon, I would just tell her directly that it's not something you care about that much. Cause otherwise, they just might not know to let it go.
>>
>>16339061
Combination of things, but mainly healthcare and what exactly are natural rights. I have a much stricter sense of the term than her. She was much more emotionally invested.
