I haven't posted here in a long while but this is killing me.
There's this girl I've liked for quite a while. She liked me, too, but we fell out of contact for a few months, and I saw her last week, and told her all the things I wished I could have told her before we went out of contact.
I asked her out for coffee, she suggested lunch, but revealed that she's seeing someone. We exchanged numbers, and she said she won't be able to do lunch til next week.
I'd really like to see her ASAP, ideally tomorrow night.
Should I show initiative and ask her out tomorrow, or should I wait til Monday or something?
This is really messing with my mind right now.

Whenever I ask stuff on /adv/ or anywhere else such as "Should I pick Maths or Actuarial Science", Americans will immediately say "Are you an idiot? You can't do the latter as an undergraduate!". Don't they realize that the college/university system works completely different in pretty much every other country on earth and you can pick Medicine, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, etc?

I was always sensitive and somewhat neurotic, but the bullying absolutely ruined me as a person. Everywhere I go I assume people are laughing at me, I can't trust people and figure people are being nice out of obligation or because they have an ulterior motive to shame me. My own thoughts do all the bullying now. I'm too afraid and beaten down to try anything new so I just sit at home on 4chan and shitpost in order to feel a little better about myself. It's pathetic, but I can't stop. I can't afford therapy or anti-depressants, so I'm pretty much just counting down the days until I kill myself.

I'm 24 and I've realized I've alienated pretty much all the friends I had over the years except for my three closest ones. It's extremely hard for me to move beyond "acquaintance" with people. I don't really know why. Eventually I get tired and want to be alone or I feel moody on a given day and don't wanna talk to anyone and so I fail to maintain a relationship. I've been working at a place for over a year filled with people my age and haven't made a single legit friend.
Does anyone else have trouble making friends?

Welp /adv/ this girl that I really like and have been talking to for almost a year now has just disclosed to me why she's been so distant (not calling, replying to text, completely not following through on plans, etc...) and it basically amounts to her life being kinda shitty, her being stressed, and the mild onset of depression. We had a chat and I told her that I felt something between us and she agreed, but said that she really couldnt be in a relationship with anyone at the moment because "she cant be there for herself so she knows she cant be there for anyone else." I'm not the type of person with any heavy baggage and in fact think that I could really be there and help her through all the stress and bullshit, and give her someone to talk to/take her mind off of things.
The problem is she is adamant at this point that she just cant do it, and I respect that. My issue is that this is admittedly my first REAL (potential) relationship and it by no means came easy. I want to say moving on would be the best option, but I'm not too skilled of a fisherman in this ocean full of women. At the same time I dont think that I am really gaining anything by waiting for her to recover her sanity, I mean im not getting any younger myself. If I did decide to just be friends would I be burning the proverbial bridge in case my venture out into the single life dosent work out? Would I be able to attempt to find someone else, and if she recovers her mind before then be able to go back to her?

Ok so me and my wife had went to a family party last night with all of her relatives. We were having a good time there drinking and catching up with everyone.
