Well here's the thing. I don't let things bother me and I feel I am on good terms with people. As a matter of fact, I'm actually the least likely to lie with people as I've been told I'm too honest at times. I don't like to cheat, lie, or steal with emotions but I'd like to know how for the sake of it. I wouldn't take pride in it, but I feel like it could be handy to know and understand to be better defended against it.

Alright since somebody made another thread for no reason, I'll ask it here too.

Yes. Being attracted to the same gender as your friend doesn't mean you're going to fuck them. There are a lot of reasons people won't date their friend's, including not being physically attracted to them (standards are subjective as fuck), not liking how the other person handles themselves in certain situations, not liking their family, or just about any reason any normal person wouldn't date any other normal person.

When you're friends with someone, their flaws become more acceptable because you don't have to deal with them in a relationship. One of my best friends is of the opposite gender and I would never date them because I fucking hate how much of an arrogant shit they can be, but that part of their personality is excusable in our friendship because I don't have to personally deal with it.

I'm friends with a lot of people of the opposite gender and I would never date any of them. Even though I love them as friends, I couldn't tolerate living or being with any of them.

Also, having casual sex with a friend can make things awkward if you learn that they're shitty in bed and never want to fuck them again. Learned that one the hard way.

I wonder if the kind of girl I'm attracted to tends to want a more emotionally closed off guy that's independent and couldn't be seen as clingy. I've tried to act like this but it never seems to work, not when it's a girl I really like. Girls with repulsive personalities always seem to gravitate towards me, it's depressing. I'm afraid that someday I'll settle and be stuck with a worthless girl for the rest of my life. I dunno if I just haven't met the right girl yet, or maybe there are aspects of my personality that I should work on but it all seems hopeless at the moment. I met a girl a few months ago and I was for once genuinely excited about how much I liked her but after a month of not talking and trying to start things back up she's lost all of her enthusiasm when we speak, realizing that my chances are over feels like dying. Granted she has a lot going on in her life right now, I don't feel like that invalidates the fundamental rejection that I've interpreted from her tone.
